Today we’d like to introduce you to Marielle Randle. 

Hi Marielle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Hello everyone I’m Mari! I am a full-time mother and Artist/business owner. Here’s a lil’ bit about my business… MCR Ventures LLC was created to share all of the different ventures of talents and skills that I have been blessed with, with the collective. 

I have always been a creative spirit ever since I was little and have been great at a multitude of things, even when most of them were hidden and I was too shy to express them. I had so many talents and so many things that I loved to do that I knew one day I could turn them into a hustle (also with the influence of an entrepreneurial spirit I received from my father). Due to my love for art/drawing, in 2016, I began doing henna body art as a hobby before I started providing it as a service. I then became a henna artist “Henna By Mari” and in 2017 I decided to take it up a notch and turned it into a business. 

I didn’t stop there, around the time that I was still in college, I started my next project, my skin/body care line “The Remedys” All Natural Products. Growing up as a child, I was very self-conscious about my skin. I had a mild case of eczema and nothing I was prescribed worked. So, I started researching (one of my key specialties lol) understanding the different stages and sensitivities of my skin, the benefits of herbal ingredients, and then started working on creating products that would work for me. They soon lead to products that not only worked for me but for many other people! I knew there were others out there, adults and children, that were going through my same circumstances. After getting feedback and compliments on “my glow” lol I realized that I created a Remedy! I didn’t start marketing/selling my first product until a year later in 2018. Family and close friends, if you know you know! My infamous “Coco Lav” Oil Mix, a coconut oil base with an essential oil blend of Egyptian lavender and Bergamot. For maintaining moisture and healthy absorption into the skin for a natural healing glow. My main focus was to base my foundation on the natural way of life, using products from the Earth because nature is the true healer and that is what I did and currently am still doing. I’ve been running a business for almost 5-6 years now. 

2019, I became a full-time mother to my beautiful exuberant baby girl, my fire child. My greatest blessing. 2020, I rebirthed my business. This year has been the most transformative and groundbreaking year ever! If you are familiar with Astrology, I have an 8H stellium. Scorpio rules the 8H and the Phoenix is a transformational symbol of Scorpio. Let’s just say “I came from the ashes and rose like a phoenix”. I began spreading my wings. 

In the midst of it all, I am also skilled in the divine studies and practice of Astrology and Tarot reading as a tool for self-awareness and divine guidance, along with being a Certified Meditation Teacher and incorporator of yogic teachings and practices. I conduct readings and one on one or group-guided sessions as a part of my wellness services. 

So, you can see that I have A LOT of ventures centered around Inspiration, Wellness, and Astrology (my slogan), that I provide and I’m sure there will be more in the future. I’m just greatFull that I am able to share my gifts with the collective and continuously be rewarded with fruits from my labor while being my true authentic Self in the process! I always want to remind those that ask me about running a business or how to get started. I always refer back to passion because when you do what you love you will never work a day in your life. It brings you a level of joy that is undeniable and makes you want to get better and better at whatever it is that you love to do. That passion encourages you to know and trust yourself even in the face of adversity, humility, and your own self-limiting beliefs. It reminds you of the unique God Light inside of you waiting to shine and lead you on your path to greatness. There will be moments where you just want to give up because it seems like things are moving slow but in those moments are where the value and beauty of the journey lies. The challenge to see how quick you are to fold on yourSelf. Remain consistent, surround yourself with good energy and people that SEE you, not just Know you and never give up on your passion! Keep moving forward because just around the corner is your breakthrough.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, it’s been a journey of ups and downs, sunshine and storms. Most of the struggles were internal and some external because I was still finding mySelf and my purpose. I was moving and standing still at the same time. I went through motions of seeking outside validation and what others thought, comparisons, not taking my gifts seriously (inconsistency), social anxiety around sharing my gifts in large groups of people/marketing myself publicly, lack of self-confidence and assertion, believing I had to lower my value to attract people because I was new to the scene and didn’t think my products were valuable enough to be bought at the prices I set (not knowing my worth) undermining my skills when others had their unsolicited opinions, not having the finances I desired to invest in my brand and make it look as appealing and the list goes on. What I believed about my Self showed through everything I did. 

I began working with those struggles, tearing them down, and building myself up simultaneously in the process. I don’t think the road is meant to be smooth because there will always be some form of challenge. I think it’s meant to be appreciated because it’s not smooth. I am evolving and learning along with my business and every level of this journey is very much so worth it. Storms never outshine the Sun. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
For starters, I consider everything I do a form of Art because I was born from Creators, which makes me a Creator by nature. Through Creation comes Art. My Art are my gifts (the colors) and the world is my canvas. I’m leaving my mark every day. 

I am known for being: 

The Creator of all-natural skin/body care products! I specialize in mixing nature’s essentials and herbs to create healing Remedys for the overall health of the body. 

A Henna artist, I provide services of temporary body art. 

A Certified meditation teacher. I provide services of guided meditations incorporated with yogic practices and teachings emphasizing the power of inner peace. 

An Astrology/Tarot reader. I provide the services of divine guidance through self-awareness and clarity messages. 

I am most proud of all my services that I provide and my ability to balance out the energy to perform them genuinely, with authenticity, and effectively. 

What sets me apart from others is that I understand that what I do is bigger than me. I am a vessel that was placed here to be of service and enjoy the tangible benefits that come along with that only by walking in my divine purpose. It’s not just about the money or being “known”/famous or whatever, it’s about how you make someone feel with the energy you are putting out when you are providing your service, the impact. I know that the energy I give out will always attract me with what is on the same frequency as me. I am not here to compete rather commute. All I have to do is spread love and focus on myself and not worry about what the next person has going. 

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I ask myself this question a lot. 

Honestly, I see my industry reaching as many heights as possible, expanding and collaborating with different artists and creatives like myself. I would like for my business to be an inspiration to remind the collective of the importance of health and wellness. To heal communities, providing them with services that uplift their energetic bodies (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) and meet their needs as well. 

Any changes that occur, I hope for them to be in a direction of high elevation. 

As far as trends… Like Hov (Jay Z) said “Would you rather be a trend, or would you rather be Ralph Lau-reeen” lol Trends are temporary, I’m going for timeless longevity.
