Conversations with Caitlin Rosas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caitlin Rosas.

Caitlin, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I love my story because I am always adding a new chapter. I am proud to be a licensed esthetician and love how far I have come in life. I grew up half of my childhood in Texas and then finally in Missouri. My story began with childcare and teaching, then to nursing. My husband and I had our son in 2019 and I knew I needed something different in my career choice. I use to be huge with all things beauty in high school and finally, after 10 plus years, I took that leap of faith! I got accepted into the esthetics program in my city. Granted it was hard at times, I managed to graduate and pass my state boards. I could not be happier with my new career choice. I have been engaging with my community and going to fundraisers and events. I love my choice of work. I have loved meeting new clients and helping with any and all skin issues they may have. My story, as always, is still building, so stay tuned!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Is anything in life ever a smooth ride, not always. I absolutely have had a few bumps in the road and I know there are tiny more to come along the way. I bounced from job to job, career to career. I was not happy with any of them and that was a huge struggle. If you aren’t happy where you work then it all goes downhill. Sometimes finances was an issue as well due to this. A big obstacle that came was during the esthetics program I attended. We went through quite a few teacher changes and curriculum changes. It was rough, but luckily, I made it through. I enjoy a not such a smooth road though sometimes, because it challenges me. You just have to breathe and take it one day at a time, learn and grow.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a licensed esthetician. What I do ranges from all things skincare, waxing, and spray tanning. I love doing facials the most because of the satisfaction I receive when my client is happy. My second favorite would be perfecting the brows! I love brow waxing and tinting. Sculpting the perfect brows is a must. I am most proud that I can bring a smile to someone’s face after my services. Knowing they are smiling because they are happy with results or just happy to relax. I take so much pride in my work to help others. I also take continued education to stay up to date on treatments or any new programs and products. It will always be nothing but the best for my clients.

How do you think about happiness?
My family absolutely steals most of my happiness for sure, but also being at the studio with my clients makes me just as happy. When your second home is your work home, with some amazing people, you just can’t, not be happy. I love being able to balance the two.

Watching our son grow each day and then have a career I cherish, is the world.

Seeing my client’s face light up at the end of the service just makes my days. To get all the love and support continuously is a blessing.
