Community Highlights: Meet Ciara Dutcher of Ciara’s Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciara Dutcher.

Hi Ciara, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always had a passion for photography, I started out taking photos of animals and wildlife. I even went to South Africa to take photos of the wildlife there. But recently my passion has grown tremendously and all I want to do is take and edit photos. I can really do it all from wildlife to business headshots and everything in between.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has definitely not been smooth, trying to run a business while being a single mom with a full-time job is pretty difficult. But my daughter is the reason I do it, I want her to have a strong hard working mom to look up to.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a photographer in the kc area, I specialize in portrait photography. Ciara’s photography is different than any other photography business out there. I’m all about making my clients happy and making them feel confident at a low price. Making my clients feel comfortable to be themselves around me makes for the best photos. And I do it all for a reasonable price.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My parents can take all the credit. They are the ones who got me my first camera and always pushed me to pursue my dreams. And even now they help out with every photo session I do, they’re always there to watch my daughter while I go do a session and my dad is always there to help move my props for me when needed. They’ll always be my number one fans that’ll push me to be the best I can be.
