Today we’d like to introduce you to Collin and Meghan Funkhouser.

Hi Collin and Meghan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We started pet sitting 10 years ago as a way to earn extra money while going to graduate school. We have moved two times across different states and started the business new each time. Since then, Funky Bunch Pet Care has grown and expanded beyond what we had imagined.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The biggest struggle for us was 2020, both personally and in the business. There was a lot on our plate but we are so thankful for our clients helping us make it through.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are professional pet sitters and dog walkers. We provide Drop-in Visits, Dog Walks, and House Sitting. We are most proud of our ability to connect with pets that have separation anxiety. We enjoy helping the pet feel at ease when their owner is away. We pride ourselves on giving peace of mind to the owner by providing frequent updates and pictures on how their pet is doing.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Communication. Hands-down the single biggest factor we believe in, is our ability to connect with our clients. Consistent and frequent communication through good times and bad helps build trust and a stronger relationship.
