Today we’d like to introduce you to Paolo and Emily Quezada.
Paolo & Emily, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started with a simple search for an all-white bounce house. How cute! My husband, Paolo, and I had seen them on Instagram and Pinterest and thought it would be perfect for our 2-year old’s birthday. We were shocked to find out we couldn’t find one in the entire state (Missouri or Kansas!) What began as a simple search became a business venture. We searched for manufacturers, researched quality, insurance, and permits. We received mentorship from thriving modern bounce house businesses in California, Texas, and Florida. We now own and operate 8 modern bounce houses. Our passion for celebrating life’s moments, especially with our children is what has fueled this business. Kansas City has welcomed The Party Trend with open arms and has made us even more passionate about modern children’s party rentals.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There’s always bumps in the road on the road less traveled. Everything we have learned has been new to us. We were luckily able to learn a lot from others. Our biggest trial and error experience remains being cleaning methods for the bounce houses. It’s a lot of work to keep them pearly white!

Paolo has a background in international business and Emily has a background in social media marketing. We both love using creativity and ingenuity to come up with new ideas. Together our skills and passions have driven The Party Trend to where it is today.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc.?
We are a Christian family and give all the credit of where we are to our Heavenly Father. We are truly blessed to have a knowledge of Him. This knowledge ultimately helps us lead our life in hope and optimism. We have had plenty of trials personally and in business, but because of Him we know we can overcome them.
