Daily Inspiration: Meet Adrienne Ayala

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrienne Ayala.

Hi Adrienne, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello My name is Adrienne & I live in Olathe with my 3 kiddos & husband Bobby.  When my middle son was just a baby, I started to meal prep for my close friends, and then it just grew from there to other close friends and their friends throughout Johnson County. I then started to experiment with making charcuterie boards and really enjoyed it. It was a way to show my creativity and go out of my comfort zone while staying at home with my kids. Now I have since stopped meal prepping and just devoted my time and love into these boards and it developed into NoshKC. Nosh meaning to graze or snack. It’s a fun way to bring loved ones together.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, it really hasn’t been hard. I haven’t tried to make it a big company I really like how organically people are finding out about NoshKC through their inner circles. It’s giving me a chance to workout the kinks before it gets to crazy that I can’t handle. Right now I can work the business in the cracks of my families busy schedule.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My background is in sales and retail and I have a degree in Marketing. But now I guess you would say that I specialize in people. I love working with different types of people and helping them celebrate important moments in life. I am also a reiki master so I do put positive energy and love into the food on the boards which in turn spreads positive vibes to them and their loved ones.

What allows my boards to shine is the ability to create such an engaging experience is the reiki energy that I induce into each board. It creates a welcoming environment that allows people to gather and enjoy the various types of food on each platter.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My major advice for others starting out would be to have faith, confidence, and have fun! There’s no need to be serious and stress about the business. The success will come just as long as you have fun with every moment!
