Today we’d like to introduce you to Paola Amaya.
Hi Paola, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my fitness journey in 2013. I felt so lost after having my son. I didn’t have any goals, ambition or something to look forward to. Being a young mom was hard for me. Fitness helped me find myself. It taught me how to set goals and reach them not only in the gym but also outside the gym. Through the years, I have learned so much about fitness and Heath and have been able to motivate and help people to live a better lifestyle.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Learning to set goals and reach them was not easy. I had to make changes to my nutrition and lifestyle. I’m not always motivated but I make sure I have a routine. I have build habits that have helped me reach my goals. Discipline is so important when it comes to a fitness journey.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My favorite thing about fitness is that it allows me grow as a person and be the best version of myself. I’m so proud of the person I have become and the mentality I have developed because of fitness. I will keep sharing my journey and hope to inspire others to start theirs.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
This journey has taught me a lot but the best thing I’ve learned throughout the years is that self-love is so important. Taking care of your mental health and body should always be a priority. I have learned to be patient with myself and take breaks when I need them. Always listen to your body! This has helped me so much through my journey.
