Inspiring Conversations with Rachel Renee of Goat Moves

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Renee.

Hi Rachel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Goat Moves LLC is the parent of Goat Moves Drug Testing which has diversified with government contracting and Goat Moves Notary Services. After the pandemic, I wanted to create multiple streams of income that were “essential”. I also wanted to establish businesses that could thrive without social media and operate remotely.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I started and failed at my first two businesses in my late teens and early 20s so I learned what not to do. Here in my late 20s, I’ve been able to establish two successful businesses during a pandemic. One business operating in all 50 states, the other in two states in a matter of one year. It was a ten years period of financial, personal, emotional, spiritual trials and accumulation of knowledge through harsh realities and little victories in life that enabled me to be an “overnight success”.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Goat Moves Drug Testing provides drug testing across the country to employers, warehouses, logistics companies, DOT workers, detention centers, etc. With over 10,000 facilities, we are able to service a large demographic at some of the most competitive rates in the country. I love when employers or other DERs (Designated Employer Representative) exclaim how easy or simple Goat Moves processes are. Before I was an entrepreneur, I was a very observant worker and I always desired for optimization and punctuality when conducting B2B transactions.

Los Angeles has so much going on all the time and various booming industries that need drug testing services. One of our main hubs is in Orange County. I feel a lot of people think the only thing to do in LA is be a “creative”. Which I’m not knocking, I’m an Art Institute graduate and a natural creative, however there are so many other lucrative industries to get into in California. I am also happy to announce that Goat Moves has secured two federal contracts in Kansas City and looks forward to creating a hub in the show me state. A lot of my employees are entrepreneurial minded and I encourage them to observe my mistakes and successes. It’s always inspiring to see someone from your hometown break into new Industries successfully, it makes it real and attainable for you. I want Goat Moves to inspire people to intensify their mojo.

We especially have great work relations with logistic and freight companies. We have such a broad reach and simple order process that we are able to test employees at random while on assignment. Even in some of the most rural areas of the United States, we usually have drug testing facilities for our clients.

Goat Moves Notary is a notary and loan signing business providing assistance to title, lending and banking corporations closing documents with the borrower. Our closers come from accounting administrative, banking and insurance backgrounds so they can confidently and accurately explain documents to the borrower.

My company is very reflective of the Goat-Methodical and patient and with those faculties, I established steamline and direct processes that make both B2B transactions extremely easy for the client. We don’t present a punch of pointless jargon and fluff to disguise inflated prices and subpar service. I’m a millennial, the extra corporate BS turns me off and I feel that’s why companies rock with me. People are tired and crave simplicity. I’m here for it.

I’m most proud of the fact that my company represents so much of what I and I feel a lot of others can resonate with which is freedom and transformation. This pandemic has illuminated so many flaws in society and its structure. I think people realized how important time, energy, family, love, health and experiences were.

Covid-19 was the great equalizer and humbler in my opinion. I’m most proud that in such chaos, I was able to create something that was essential and beneficial to society but that offered me freedom and the ability to cultivate that for others. My employees work four days work weeks and are compensated well and are provided with information on how to care for their health holistically as well as financial literacy. Goat Moves LLC work culture reinforces mental and emotional health, promotes self-sufficiency and encourages gratitude. I desire for my employees to live their best lives in every aspect.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
As a child, I was very talkative, aggressive, competitive and analytical. I was also very friendly, observant and self-entertained. I loved to go outside all day and play, write stories, draw and just research random things. I was and still am into metaphysics, cartoons (classics like dragon ball z, Ed edd n eddy, Courage the Cowardly dog, Hey Arnold, Avatar: Last Air Bender, etc…the whole 90s-2000s line up from Cartoon Network & Nickelodeon), magical powers, I thought I could cast spells like Harry Potter world history and nature. I’m from the Midwest-Kansas City, MO, home of the Chiefs and the best BBQ, the show me state! So I had a hospitable bible belt upbringing and then relocated to LA at 11 and got into holistic health and really started exploring occult knowledge. I started experiencing more cultures, industries, different tax brackets and mindsets. By the time I was in high school, I knew for a fact I was going to be an entrepreneur. I always wanted that high-energy, direct, hardcore business life, lol like Jordan Bellford but minus the drugs, hookers and tossing vertically smaller people.
