Check Out Nikita Razo’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikita Razo.

Nikita, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Honestly I didn’t plan to ever own a business. I actually have an engineering degree that I never got to use. Then a few years after graduation, I stumbled into a photography business that I ran for 10 years all over the world that gave me something to pour myself into during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Surprisingly enough, I’ve also owned an event center and a rage room, because apparently I don’t know how to do things halfway.

I tried the whole “work for someone else” thing. Turns out I’m not built for it. At all.

So I started Pink Pixie Marketing. And while it might not have been the safest choice, it was definitely the right one for me.

Enter present day, and I’ve now been a business owner for over 13 years across multiple industries. If there’s a theme in all of this, it’s that I figure things out and I keep moving forward.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Military moves that forced me to “restart” my business in a new location every few years
Navigating pregnancy & motherhood as a working mom
Getting divorced and having to rebuild my life

Most of the time, it has felt like a constant uphill battle. Business owners know, the hustle never really stops, it just slows down occasionally.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the Sparkle Specialist at Pink Pixie Marketing. I offer social media management, ad management, website design, SEO, graphic design, branding, headshots, and content creation.

I know what it feels like to have something really good and have no idea how to get it in front of the right people. I know what it feels like to throw money at marketing and watch it do absolutely nothing. And I know what it feels like when it finally clicks and everything starts to move in the direction you’ve been dreaming of.

Getting my clients to that click is literally my favorite part of this job.

I’ve been a business owner long enough to know what actually moves revenue and what just looks good in a report. I’m not going to sell you on vanity metrics or convince you that more followers equals more money. I’m going to show up, learn your business, build something that fits, and tell you the truth about what’s working and what isn’t.
