Hidden Gems: Meet Katie Brantmeyer of KTB Media and Marketing LLC & GetAlyned LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katie Brantmeyer.

Hi Katie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started KTB Media & Marketing when I was 17 years old, sitting in my college dorm room. There was no big agency, no team, and definitely no perfectly mapped-out business plan. I knew I loved marketing, I understood how powerful it could be for a business, and I was willing to figure out the rest as I went. In those early years, I was doing everything myself. Social media, content, graphics, emails, strategy, client communication, whatever needed to get done. I was learning how to run a business at the same time I was learning what actually made marketing work.

One of the biggest turning points came when I met a business coach who brought me out to Kansas. At the time, I couldn’t have known how much that trip would change the trajectory of my business. It opened my world to new people, new markets, and eventually an entirely different level of opportunity. I started working more closely with real estate professionals, brokerages, mortgage companies, and business owners, and what began in one college dorm room continued expanding far beyond anything I could have pictured at 17.

Over time, KTBMM grew from me doing everything myself into a full team of specialists. We built a company around the idea that great marketing takes more than someone who knows how to post on social media. It takes strategy, copywriting, graphic design, video, advertising, email, automation, lead generation, events, branding, and an understanding of how all of those pieces actually work together to grow a business. Today, we work with clients across **15 different states**, and I have had the opportunity to become deeply embedded in businesses throughout the real estate and mortgage industries.

That experience changed the way I looked at marketing. The deeper I got into our clients’ businesses, the more I realized that generating attention was only one part of the equation. We could create the campaign, generate the lead, build the landing page, write the emails, run the ads, create the content, and build the follow-up. But once someone actually became a client, particularly in real estate, the experience became incredibly fragmented.

The agent was working in one system. The lender was in another. The client was getting emails, texts, phone calls, and updates from multiple people. Documents lived in different places. Partners were working on different timelines. Important information could be buried inside a group text or an email chain. And somehow, the client, the person the entire transaction was supposed to serve, was often the person with the least visibility into what was happening.

After spending years helping businesses grow, I started asking a different question. Instead of only asking, **”How do we market this better?”** I started asking, **”Why does the experience after someone chooses you still work this way?”**

That’s where **GetAlyned** came from.

GetAlyned is being built as an all-in-one platform for the real estate transaction. It brings the **agent, the client, and the professionals surrounding the deal** into one connected experience instead of forcing everyone to operate across separate CRMs, inboxes, text threads, and platforms.

For the agent, that means being able to manage contacts, transactions, communication, marketing, client updates, documents, and partner relationships from one place. Instead of logging the same information into multiple systems, one action can move the transaction forward and automatically create updates across the platform.

For the client, GetAlyned creates something I felt was missing from real estate: actual visibility. Clients can have their own branded portal where they can see where they are in the transaction, what’s already happened, what comes next, important documents, and communication with the people helping them through the process. They shouldn’t have to send a text asking, *”What’s going on with my deal?”* every time they want an update.

And for lenders, title companies, inspectors, attorneys, and other partners, GetAlyned creates a shared place to work alongside the agent instead of being brought into yet another disconnected email chain. Communication stays attached to the actual transaction, so everyone who needs context has it.

But GetAlyned is more than transaction management. We’re building marketing tools, AI-powered content and communication, CRM capabilities, client follow-up, open house tools, branded materials, partner networking, and automation directly into the same ecosystem. The idea is simple: **the tools you use to win the client and the tools you use to serve the client shouldn’t live in completely different worlds.**

KTBMM taught me how businesses attract people, build trust, create opportunities, and stay in front of their audience. GetAlyned grew from seeing what happened next.

When I look at the two companies now, I don’t really see them as separate stories.

KTBMM started with a 17-year-old in a college dorm room who wanted to understand how to help businesses grow. That journey brought me to Kansas, took the company into 15 states, gave me the opportunity to work inside hundreds of businesses, and gave me a front-row seat to the real problems professionals and their clients deal with every day.

GetAlyned is the next chapter.

I spent years helping businesses create more opportunities.

Now, I’m building something designed to make the entire experience **after the opportunity** better, too.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I started KTBMM at 17, and from the beginning, I knew I would have to fight for credibility.

I was young, I was a woman building in male-dominated industries, and I came in with almost no connections. I had to force my way into rooms where nobody knew my name, create opportunities for myself, and prove that I belonged there through the work.

At the same time, I was paying my own way through college while growing the business. Outside of work, I was also navigating addiction and loss within my family. There were seasons where life felt incredibly heavy, but the business still had to move forward.

I never had a Plan B.

That forced me to become resourceful, resilient, and comfortable being uncomfortable. I learned how to walk into rooms before I felt ready, build relationships from nothing, and keep going even when the circumstances around me were far from ideal.

A lot of what could have made me quit ended up becoming the reason I learned how not to.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about KTB Media and Marketing LLC & GetAlyned LLC?
KTB Media & Marketing and GetAlyned represent two different sides of the same mission: helping businesses grow, operate better, and create stronger experiences for the people they serve.

I founded KTB Media & Marketing at 17 years old from my college dorm room, and over the last decade it has grown into a full-service marketing company working across 15 states. We specialize heavily in the real estate and mortgage industries, helping agents, loan officers, teams, brokerages, and companies with everything from brand strategy and social media to paid advertising, video, email and SMS marketing, lead generation, events, landing pages, recruiting campaigns, and automation.

What sets KTBMM apart is that we are not just creating content for the sake of creating content. We get deeply involved in the business behind the marketing. We want to understand where leads are coming from, how they are being followed up with, what the customer experience looks like, where opportunities are being lost, and how all of the pieces can work together. We also built our team around specialists rather than expecting one person to be a strategist, designer, copywriter, editor, media buyer, and project manager all at once. I am incredibly proud that KTBMM has grown from something I built alone as a teenager into a team capable of supporting businesses at a much higher level.

GetAlyned grew directly out of that experience. After years of working inside real estate and mortgage businesses, I kept seeing the same problem: the transaction itself was fragmented. Agents, clients, lenders, title companies, inspectors, attorneys, and other partners were communicating across different systems, inboxes, group texts, CRMs, and platforms. Everyone was working on the same transaction, but rarely from the same place.

GetAlyned is our answer to that. It is an all-in-one real estate platform designed to connect the **agent, client, and transaction partners** in one ecosystem. It combines CRM and transaction management with client portals, communication, documents, marketing tools, AI, automation, open house resources, and partner collaboration. The goal is to make the real estate experience easier to manage for the professional and significantly more transparent for the client.

What I am most proud of across both brands is that neither was built around what already existed. KTBMM grew because we kept asking how marketing could actually drive the business forward, not just make it look good online. GetAlyned exists because we eventually started asking an even bigger question: why are we accepting such a disconnected way of doing business in the first place?

At the core of both companies is the same belief: better systems create better businesses, and better experiences create stronger relationships.** Whether we are helping someone grow their brand through KTBMM or helping them manage the entire real estate experience through GetAlyned, we are always looking for ways to make the process more intentional, more connected, and ultimately more effective.

What does success mean to you?
I define success by the amount of people I can make successful. When my team and clients win, I win.
