Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessie LeBlanc.
Hi Jessie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It feels like I have always had one foot in the world of nursing and caring for others, beginning primarily with my faith. I truly cannot think of a more meaningful or rewarding way to serve people than through nursing. That passion for caring for others eventually led me to a second calling: entrepreneurship.
While I was in nursing school, I began feeling a strong nudge to create a health and wellness-focused business of my own. During clinicals, I spent time caring for critically ill patients and began asking myself an important question- What if we could help people take better care of themselves long before they ever reached that point?
I became increasingly interested in prevention and in helping people address their health proactively rather than waiting until they were facing serious health challenges. I found myself asking questions like- How can we combat chronic fatigue? How can we support our bodies before problems become more complicated? How can we help people make sustainable choices that allow them to feel their best, feel confident, and maintain their health for years to come?
From there, I started educating myself as much as possible about prevention, wellness, and the many ways nurses can play a role in helping people become more proactive about their health. I also intentionally used my first few years as an RN to develop clinical skills and experiences that I knew would eventually serve me in building a business.
That journey ultimately led to the creation of Drip & Fit Wellness, which is now over a year old. I am continuing to learn every day—not only about health and wellness, but about people, business, leadership, and what it truly means to serve others as an entrepreneur.
I am incredibly grateful that nursing has given me the opportunity to care for people in one way, while entrepreneurship has allowed me to expand that mission and promote health and wellness from a more preventative perspective. It has been incredibly rewarding to build something rooted in both my faith and my passion for helping people live healthier, fuller lives.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t think any new venture—or anything worth learning—is ever completely smooth. There are always going to be bumps in the road, and I think those challenges are especially important in healthcare, where the information and standards are constantly evolving.
Because I work in a relatively new area of health and wellness, a significant part of running my business is staying current- guidelines from compounding pharmacies, new research, and even nursing regulations can change, so I have had to become very intentional about continuing my education and making sure that the services I provide are grounded in current evidence, safety, and best practices. That responsibility can be challenging, but it has also pushed me to become a much more knowledgeable and well-rounded nurse and business owner.
My first year of business also taught me a lot about myself. One of the biggest challenges I faced was learning to trust my own knowledge and abilities. I think imposter syndrome is something that can affect anyone when they step outside of their comfort zone or take on something they have never done before. For me, entrepreneurship meant going from being confident in my role as a nurse to suddenly wearing a dozen different hats—business owner, marketer, leader, decision-maker, and clinician.
Learning to recognize the value of my skills, my nursing license, my education, and the goals I had worked so hard to achieve was a huge part of my growth. I have learned that confidence doesn’t necessarily mean knowing everything-sometimes it means trusting yourself enough to keep learning, staying curious, and moving forward.
Looking back, the challenges have been some of the most valuable parts of building Drip & Fit Wellness. They have pushed me to grow not only as an entrepreneur, but also as a healthcare professional and as a person.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work is centered around one thing: helping people feel cared for, supported, and empowered in their health.
I am a pediatric-certified operating room nurse full-time, and I truly love every part of it. I have the opportunity to care for patients across a wide range of surgeries and specialties, often during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. There is something incredibly rewarding about being part of a patient’s care while they are under anesthesia and trusting our team to help find a solution to something that has been affecting their life. Whether that means helping someone feel more confident in their own body, helping a child hear clearly for the first time, or providing a solution for a chronic infection, I never take that for granted.
I have worked in healthcare since high school and have spent more than four years specifically in critical care as a registered nurse. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach health and wellness today. Alongside my nursing career, I own and operate a mobile IV infusion business, where I provide customized vitamin and mineral-based intravenous and intramuscular wellness options designed to support clients as they navigate everyday life and prioritize their health.
What I am most proud of is my drive to continually learn. I am always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge, improve my skills, and become the best nurse, business owner, and healthcare professional I can be. I also genuinely enjoy connecting with other entrepreneurs and learning from the people around me. I think some of the best growth happens when you are willing to remain curious and learn from others.
When it comes to what sets Drip & Fit Wellness apart, I think there are several things. We take a highly individualized approach to every client. Our services are designed to be a luxury, convenient experience brought directly into the comfort of your home, while keeping the client’s best interest at the center of every decision.
We also place a huge emphasis on comfort and the overall experience. In addition to our infusion services, we offer complimentary wellness add-ons such as leg compression therapy and red light therapy to make each visit feel more like an intentional wellness experience rather than simply a treatment.
But ultimately, I think what sets us apart most is our philosophy. We genuinely care about the person behind the service.
Our goal is never to make someone feel like they need IV therapy forever. We want to educate, support, and encourage our clients to build healthy habits and take care of their bodies so that, ideally, they reach a point where they feel so good and so confident in their health that they don’t feel like they need us anymore!
To me, that is what healthcare should be about: not just treating people when they are sick, but empowering them to take an active role in their health before they get there.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My biggest piece of advice is to immerse yourself in your industry. Put yourself in rooms, conversations, and communities where you can learn from people who are doing what you aspire to do. Seek out people with different experiences, backgrounds, and areas of expertise, and be genuinely curious about their journey.
I have found that some of the best mentorship happens organically. When you consistently show up, ask thoughtful questions, listen, and demonstrate that you are willing to learn, people are often much more willing to invest in you than you might expect. I have been incredibly fortunate to have some of the smartest, kindest, and most supportive people in my life serve as mentors to me.
I also think it is important not to approach networking with the mindset of, “What can this person do for me?” Instead, focus on building genuine relationships and learning from the people around you. Soak it all up like a sponge. Every conversation, connection, and experience can teach you something.
Most importantly, don’t be afraid to reach out. Successful people often genuinely want to help others become successful. I have found that when you approach people with humility, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, you can build relationships that have an impact far beyond what you initially imagined.
