Inspiring Conversations with Krista Williams of Neatly Done

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krista Williams.

Hi Krista, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Neatly Done in 2018, after many years in the corporate world. Neatly Done was founded from my desire to own my own company and my passion for giving families the same joy I’ve experienced from a simplified, organized home.

As my life got busier with roles as a mom and wife, I felt myself naturally lean into organization. It brought sanity to my life and gave our family a place to escape at the end of a long day. An organized home is life-giving and transforming. And so, Neatly Done began from that longing to give clients what my family could no longer live without: efficient and effortless spaces.

We have an amazing team of women that serve our Kansas City community so well. They are incredibly talented, compassionate, efficient, creative and just all around great humans. I am so lucky to lead them! My job is to educate new clients on our process and how we can help. I also cast the vision for the soon-to-be-organized area (or relocation) and then hand off the detail management to our very capable team.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Business ownership is never a completely smooth road! Especially when you are building a business from scratch. One of the most challenging transitions was moving from executing projects myself to building, training and equipping a team to execute the projects.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Neatly Done?
Neatly Done is a luxury, team-based home organizing and relocation company serving Kansas City and beyond. We help clients when their homes, and everything happening inside them, start to feel overwhelming. Whether that means finally getting an out-of-control kitchen, closet, pantry, or entire home organized, or managing the complicated process of moving from one home to another, we’re the team clients call when they want it done exceptionally well.

Our clients describe us like organization wizards: a team of highly skilled professionals who are completely obsessed with the details. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all organizing solutions. Every project is customized to the client, their home, their belongings, and the way they actually live. Our leadership team invests significant time upfront learning our clients’ routines, preferences, priorities, and goals so we can thoughtfully design systems that make sense for them and are sustainable long after we leave.

That preparation is a huge part of what sets Neatly Done apart. We pre-plan, coordinate, and problem-solve behind the scenes so our team can execute quickly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to the client’s home and life. Nearly all of our organizing projects can be completed in a single day, and our relocation team can unpack and set up an entire home in a matter of days. We’re proud of the systems and processes we’ve built that allow us to create these incredibly fast transformations without sacrificing the thoughtful details or personalized service that define our brand.

Our team is truly what makes Neatly Done special. From our leadership and project managers to our professional organizers, we have an exceptionally skilled, compassionate, detail-oriented group of people who genuinely care about doing things right. We’re proud to deliver a luxury experience that feels both highly professional and deeply personal.

At the heart of our brand is a simple idea: your home should make your life easier, not harder. If the stuff in your home is stressing you out, we can organize it. If the thought of moving everything you own from one home to another feels completely overwhelming, we can manage that, too. From designing customized organizing systems to coordinating and executing full-service relocations, Neatly Done takes the complexity off our clients’ plates and leaves them with a home that is organized, functional, beautiful, and truly tailored to them.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
We define success how our client’s define it. And that is different for every project and every client.
