Hi Sienna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi! I’m Sienna.
I have wanted to be an actress since I was six years old.
When I was younger, there were little to no outlets when it came to acting or any arts because I lived in Kansas. So, I learned as much as I possibly could about the craft online and through books.
Then once I turned 18, I moved to New York to study acting at a professional acting Conservatory!
The rest is history, hehe.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are many struggles when you want to do anything creative. Whether it be financially, emotionally, or physically. You have to basically put everything aside to fulfill your dreams. And that means whatever it takes.
It could turn into, moving away from your family(physically), going to school(financially), or spending all of your time being dedicated to making yourself succeed(emotionally).
It’s a very lonely journey, but if you keep at it, it will be worth it in the end.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an actress in Los Angeles now!
I have moved states so many times it’s actually crazy. But I have officially settled here. I am originally from Kansas City, Kansas.
I also do a lot of modeling, but my main focus is acting.
I moved to LA not knowing anyone, without my family and had to make a life out here but I can honestly say its been the best decision of my life. I’ve made so many friends and I have booked more being here, than anywhere else. It’s been such a blessing.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I could name countless people. I have so so so many people who have helped me get to where I’m at now.
But most notably, the person I owe it all to is my grandmother.
She shaped me into the person I am today and helped raise me as a child.
Almost everything I am and who I want to be is because of that wonderful woman.
She is the very essence of my being.
