Along the journey, I also became an Airbnb host, which taught me even more about hospitality, customer service, and creating memorable experiences for people. Building these businesses hasn’t always been easy. There were challenges, long hours, and many moments that tested my determination, but each obstacle helped me become a stronger entrepreneur and leader.
Today, I’m proud to be a business owner, a wife, and a mother. My greatest motivation is creating opportunities for my team, providing exceptional service to my clients, and showing my son that with faith, perseverance, and hard work, it’s possible to build the life you dream of. Building a business has definitely not been a smooth road. As an immigrant entrepreneur, I had to overcome language barriers, cultural differences, and the challenge of building trust in a highly competitive industry. In the beginning, I did almost everything myself—from cleaning homes to answering phone calls, scheduling clients, and managing the business behind the scenes.
One of the biggest challenges has been building and leading a reliable team. Finding great people, training them, and maintaining consistent quality requires constant effort. There have also been moments of uncertainty, financial pressure, and unexpected setbacks that tested my resilience.
More recently, becoming a mother has added a new layer of responsibility. Learning to balance entrepreneurship with family life has been one of my greatest challenges, but also one of my greatest blessings. It has taught me to prioritize what truly matters, become more efficient with my time, and lead with greater empathy.
Looking back, I believe every obstacle has helped shape who I am today. Instead of seeing challenges as reasons to quit, I chose to see them as opportunities to grow. That mindset has been one of the biggest reasons I’ve been able to continue moving forward.
