Miquela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Thank you for the opportunity to share my truth, to share space for voice. Hi! My name is Miquela! I am from Kansas City, MO. My story, my life in all its facets is lead and based in Love and listening to the heart. It has been a solid foundation that has led my journey through the gift of life. Love exists in many layers, dynamics and is an energy that lives within all of us. Through every storm, challenge, gift, and living; love has been a continuous flow through it all. Much of my life I had endured challenges that required me to step up and be a true leader, leading with integrity and honesty. The skills developed through survival equipped me with tools I will be able to use for the rest of my life. Helping create a solid foundation within that shows out in the world and is able to adapt when needed. My challenges and the life I have walked leading to today is a gift I cherish deeply. It has shown my light, given opportunity to learn creative problem solving and solutions that can be applied in any situation and has given me such sight in bigger picture and what truly can exist. Challenges are opportunities when you are able to shift your perspective and attitude. There is always an opportunity to learn. Although I have walked a significant path of hardship, it has taught me so much about living presently. The gift of being alive and living with a love ethic. Love has touched every part of my life. It is a reason I rise everyday and will continue as I live this life. It is applied in everything I do. My work, within myself, community, my art and the world itself.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have immense value and respect toward obstacles and challenges. Shifting to this perspective and recognizing the opportunities at hand when things arise. Challenges and obstacles are a part of life. They happen in all areas of the path we walk. At times I have learned what played true and worked in past, the tools necessary must be shifted to new foundations to continue building and maintaining to create the end result. Accepting the truths that arise, remembering the skills held and now the adaptability of creating anew adds on to the longevity of what is being created. This has helped me see bigger picture, to work with teams and recognize the skills sets of all involved and to apply all together to create lasting change that has solid foundations that will continue the success of the team and the companies I have worked with. Being able to be adaptable and let go of the need for control allows for flow and flexibility to create the stability of the desired outcome. Every challenge and every obstacle is an opportunity to learn. To try another way. To shift from the perspective of failure to recognize the current method tried is not the way but to try another. Challenges help build character. Getting back up and trying again, trying another way leads to success. Persevering through obstacles and challenges will take you far in life, career and all your endeavors. Transforming challenges, obstacles, pain and experiences into positive change and outcomes for self and your life. Have faith, trust and believe in yourself to see this through. It is important to hold gratitude, compassion, patience and grace through the challenges. You will be surprised by your strength, success and the hidden opportunities that obstacles/challenges bring. Perspective and attitude are key.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a creative who has the joy, privilege and passion of working in the music industry and surrounded by creatives in many mediums. All my work is based in love, integrity, truth, authenticity and creativity. These energies grace my story telling, energy work, photography and the groups I work with currently in the music industry. I value the skills, knowledge and creativity everyone brings to the table. I prioritize community and mindful of what is beneficial to all involved without stifling needs, creative input, perspectives and fostering fairness. I create from the heart and value this in all spaces I work with. It is important to live from the heart, being the truth of you and manifesting your dreams and desires. I am grateful for the abundance of dream and wish fulfillment that has manifested in my life and continues in my work. With energy work, I prioritize safe spaces for healing and support in those that are ready and seeking to know their depths. It is a joy, honor and beautiful to help others on their paths of success and dream fulfillment. We have one life and it is incredibly important to live in your authentic truth as there is no one else like you. All of my creative work is based in this truth and how this has manifested in my life has been an adventure of knowing what can truly exist and be created.
Any big plans?
From the solid foundations I have built overtime with perseverance, healing, patience, love and integrity I plan to continue to grow towards a legacy and work that lasts and takes me where it leads. I have had the privilege to live many lifetimes in just this one. I have had the privilege of working and co creating within so many communities and others in a lasting and beautiful way. Every day is a gift and I value the gift of life. I hope to continue to preserve, grow and create lasting change that at root is in love and helps communities I work with. I lead a life with intention in all my endeavors. Change is a constant and I look forward to the changes that time will bring. To creating anew and collaborating artistically with photography, music, and the many mediums of creating. To writing and releasing more of this work. To energy work with those who want to create and come home to their energy. I hope to continue in the music industry as well as it has been an amazing adventure working with everyone I have met along the way.
