Meet Lacee Hunt of Kansas City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lacee Hunt.

Hi Lacee, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been dancing since I could walk, and grew up doing competitive dance. 5 years I attended an open call audition to perform at worlds of fun and the rest is history. This is my first summer dancing for them in 3 years, and I’ve performed for them during the haunt season consistently over the past four years with this season being my 5th.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
the I think the biggest struggle would be my time management. I have a full job and that I work performing, learning choreography , and auditioning so balancing everything can be hard task, but regardless I get it done

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a dancer, choreographer, and instructor. I specialize in live entertainment and performances, and can usually be seen at Worlds of Fun performing during their haunt season. I’m most proud of just simply getting to do what I love for a living.
