Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Piggie.
Hi jason, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Photographer/Filmmaker/Curator
My artistic journey began in August 1986 when I took my first photography class in high school. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I loved both the creative process and the artistry of photography. From that point on, I stuck with it, continuing to study photography throughout high school and into college.
I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, while continuing to develop my skills as a photographer. Today, I work with both film and digital photography, combining traditional techniques with modern technology to create images that tell a story.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No road is ever smooth, and my journey has had its share of setbacks. But through it all, I’ve remained focused on creating and sharing my perspective of the world through photography. Looking back over the past 30-plus years, I’ve come to realize that those setbacks also gave me something valuable, an understanding and perspective that made the challenges worthwhile.
As you know, we’re big fans of Little Piggie Entertainment. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Little Piggie Entertainment LLC is a creative studio built around storytelling. My goal is to create work that connects with people and leaves a lasting impression.
With more than 30 years of experience, I’ve worked with both traditional and digital mediums, combining technical knowledge with a creative approach that continues to evolve. I enjoy taking an idea from its earliest stages and developing it into something meaningful, whether that’s creating artwork, designing marketing materials, producing photography, or helping a client bring their vision to life.
What sets my work apart is the perspective behind it. Every project is an opportunity to tell a story, solve a creative challenge, and produce something authentic rather than following trends. I believe the best work comes from listening, collaborating, and paying attention to the details that make each project unique.
What I’m most proud of is building a brand that reflects who I am as an artist and creative professional. Little Piggie Entertainment LLC represents years of growth, perseverance, and a commitment to creating work with purpose. My hope is that when people see my work, they don’t just see a finished product—they see the thought, craftsmanship, and passion behind it.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I’m an introvert who acts like and extrovert.
