Hi Quincy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My wife and I both grew up in Mississippi, where we learned the value of hard work, determination, and faith. Life wasn’t always easy, but the lessons we learned growing up shaped us into the people we are today.
As a teenager, I was never afraid of hard work. In the South, cars were more than just transportation—they were something people took pride in. Keeping them clean was important, and that’s where my passion for detailing first began. I learned responsibility by working alongside my father, mother and friends, and those early experiences taught me discipline, customer service, and the importance of taking pride in every job. Looking back, those moments planted the seed of entrepreneurship in my heart.
For years, my wife and I dreamed of building something of our own. She believed in me long before the business became a reality and encouraged me every step of the way. Her support, faith, and determination gave me the confidence to pursue a dream that at times felt impossible. One of the things we’re most proud of is that our business has allowed us to provide for our family while building a legacy we hope will inspire future generations.
In August 2019, that dream became a reality with the launch of Gifted Mobile Auto Detailing. What started as a simple vision quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever imagined. We invested countless hours learning, improving our craft, and delivering the highest level of service possible. We knew the journey would require sacrifice, long days, and unwavering faith—but we also believed that hard work would eventually open doors.
Today, we’re honored to have been recognized as Google’s Best Auto Detailer of 2025 and a Top Three Auto Detailer of 2026. Those achievements mean the world to us, but they’re only milestones along the journey. We believe the best is still ahead, and we’re excited to continue serving our community while growing a business built on faith, family, integrity, and excellence.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has been anything but smooth, but every obstacle has helped shape who we are as business owners and as a family.
Like many entrepreneurs, we started with a dream but very little knowledge of what it truly took to build a successful business. Thankfully, through the guidance of mentors, the support of our community, and our faith in Jesus Christ, we’ve continued to learn, grow, and move forward.
Our industry also comes with seasonal challenges. Auto detailing naturally slows during certain times of the year, and because we started as a fully mobile detailing business, weather often determined whether we could work. Then COVID-19 changed everything. Many of the services we offered came to a standstill, making an already difficult situation even more challenging.
During that same season, I faced one of the biggest battles of my life when I became seriously ill and underwent open-heart surgery. For nearly a year, we lost almost everything we had worked so hard to build. That was one of the most difficult chapters of our lives, but it also revealed the true strength of our partnership. My wife stepped in, carried the weight of the business and our family, and never stopped believing that we would make it through.
Every challenge has strengthened our faith, our marriage, and our business. Looking back, we realize those obstacles weren’t meant to stop us—they were preparing us for where we’re headed. Today, we’re still standing, still growing, and more motivated than ever to continue building a business rooted in faith, integrity, and service to our community.

At Gifted Mobile Auto Detailing, we believe we’re in the people business just as much as we’re in the auto detailing business. Every vehicle we touch belongs to someone who has worked hard for it, and we treat every car, truck, SUV, RV, motorcycle, or boat with the same level of care and respect as if it were our own.

Without question, the most influential resource in our lives is the Bible. It’s the foundation of our faith, our marriage, and our business. Every decision we make is guided by biblical principles of integrity, honesty, humility, service, and treating others with respect.
Beyond that, we’re always looking for ways to grow as business owners by learning from other entrepreneurs, networking with like-minded people, and gaining wisdom through real-life experiences. We believe that success isn’t just about building a profitable business—it’s about building strong character, serving others well, and honoring God in everything we do.
At the end of the day, our greatest source of wisdom, encouragement, and direction will always be God’s Word.
