Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Hull.
Hi Bri, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Since I was a little girl, I’ve been extremely creative. I’ve always loved to write, tell stories, and understand why people like what they like and are the way they are. I was fortunate enough to have this transform into my career as an adult, where I was still able to pursue writing, be creative, and dive deeper into what makes people connect with a brand, content, or an idea.
For most of my career, I worked in corporate marketing and content strategy, helping companies grow through digital content and brand storytelling. I spent more than ten years building campaigns, leading creative strategy, and helping businesses connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. While I loved the work, I always felt like something was missing…that I was made for more than the corporate grind.
My journey with social media really took off in 2020, and started with me sharing my love for fashion and behind-the-scenes of my own life. This gradually grew into a bigger platform centered around style, wellness, routines, books, and intentional living. I dabbled in entrepreneurship throughout the last six years, but nothing ever felt aligned until earlier this year. I found that my followers weren’t looking for perfection—they were looking for realistic ways to feel confident, get inspired, and create a life they genuinely enjoy. That realization completely changed how I approached content, and why I wanted to help others do the same.
Earlier this year, I stepped away from corporate life and started to pursue this next chapter more intentionally. Today, I split my time between creating content for my own social platforms and working with small businesses to help them build more intentional brands and content strategies on social media.
It’s been a beautiful journey. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth rarely happens in a straight line. Every experience—from corporate marketing to content creation to entrepreneurship—has helped shape the work I’m doing today, and I’m excited to see where it leads next.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Stepping away from the familiarity and security of corporate America is terrifying. I tried to pursue content creation and build my own business while also working a corporate 9-5 for years, but I realized time and time again that I was trying to fit into a box of what everyone else was doing instead of trusting my instincts and leaning into what I know I’m good at. This often led to burnout, disappointment, and exhaustion, which always translated into feeling like a failure.
I was comfortable in my corporate job, but I always felt like something was missing. Yet when I tried to pursue my own thing at the same time, I had to sacrifice one of my favorite parts of my life: slow, intentional living.
For a long time, I thought success meant doing more—working longer hours, saying yes to every opportunity, and constantly working toward another goal. What I eventually learned is that success looks different for everyone. For me, it meant creating a life with enough space to enjoy it.
The biggest challenge for me wasn’t learning how to create content or build a business. It was learning to trust myself. Trusting that I didn’t need to follow someone else’s blueprint. Trusting that I could build something that reflected my own values. Trusting that rest, creativity, and balance weren’t things I had to earn after working myself into the ground.
And that’s not to say everyday is easy breezy; there are still days when I am working well into the latest hours of the night. But not everyday has to be a grind anymore. I am more successful when I am more intentional.
But entrepreneurship has a way of testing your confidence. There are still plenty of days when I am hit with major doubt and imposter syndrome. But every time I choose to trust myself instead of listening to that fear, I’ve found myself moving closer to the life I’ve always wanted.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a content creator, and a brand and social media strategist. I create lifestyle content centered around style, wellness, and intentional living while helping small businesses grow through social media and storytelling.
After spending years working in corporate marketing and big brand content strategy, I developed a deep understanding of what makes people stop scrolling, pay attention, and ultimately trust a business.
Today, I bring that same strategic mindset into both my own content and the work I do with clients.
My personal content focuses on style, balanced wellness, books, routines, and intentional living. I’m passionate about showing that confidence, growth, and fulfillment don’t have to come from perfection—they often come from the small habits and everyday choices that shape our lives over time. Whether I’m sharing a morning routine, a favorite book, a style tip, or a wellness practice, my goal is always to make things feel relatable and approachable.
Beyond content creation, I also work with small businesses on social media and brand strategy. One of my favorite parts of what I do is helping business owners understand their followers, tell their stories in a more relatable way, and create content that genuinely connects with their audience.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a specific campaign, follower count, or milestone. It’s building a career that reflects who I am. For years, I helped big brands find and communicate their voice. Now, I have the opportunity to do the same for myself while helping others along the way.
I think what sets me apart is the combination of creativity and strategy. I understand the art behind content creation, but I also understand the business side of it. Every piece of content I create is rooted in storytelling, connection, and intention.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Influencer marketing has grown exponentially over the last decade, and I believe that growth will continue. Consumers don’t just rely on reviews or online ratings anymore—they want to see how real people use a product or service, how it fits into their everyday lives, and why it’s worth investing in.
More than ever, people are looking for connection. They want a peek behind the curtain. They don’t just want to follow celebrities or major brands—they want to follow people they can relate to, learn from, and trust. That’s one of the reasons creator-led content has become so powerful.
At the same time, I think we’re moving beyond the era of overly polished advertising and perfectly curated feeds. Audiences are becoming increasingly savvy, and they’re quick to recognize content that feels forced or inauthentic. The creators and brands that will thrive are the ones that prioritize genuine storytelling, transparency, and value.
I also believe we’ll see a continued shift toward expertise. Authenticity is important, but people are increasingly looking for creators, business owners, and brands that bring a unique perspective, specialized knowledge, or meaningful experience to the conversation. Being relatable gets someone’s attention; providing value keeps it.
Beyond the creator space, I think small businesses will continue investing heavily in social media and digital content. For many businesses, social media is no longer a nice-to-have—it’s one of the most powerful ways to build trust, create community, and drive growth. As a result, I expect more businesses to outsource content creation, social media management, and brand strategy to people like myself who can help them show up consistently and connect with the right audience.
No matter how technology evolves, I think the core principle will remain the same: people connect with people. Platforms may change, algorithms may change, and AI will undoubtedly play a larger role, but authentic storytelling and human connection will continue to be at the center of good marketing.
