Asakhe Mtshisazwe is a South African gospel artist, singer, and songwriter based in Johannesburg. He was born on 31 March 2003 in Qumbu, Eastern Cape.
His musical journey began in a local church within his community, where he discovered his passion for singing. Later, he developed his songwriting talent through the encouragement of a school teacher who challenged students to write and perform their own original songs. This experience inspired Asakhe to pursue music more seriously and refine his craft.
Through dedication, continuous learning, and a growing passion for gospel music, Asakhe steadily developed as an artist. In 2026, he achieved a major milestone in his career with the release of his debut 10-track album, showcasing his talent as both a singer and songwriter.

The journey has not been easy at all. One of the biggest challenges Asakhe has faced is financial constraints. To support both his aviation career and his passion for music, he had to find employment that could help sustain both pursuits.

Despite these challenges, Asakhe has remained committed to his goals, demonstrating resilience, determination, and a strong work ethic. His ability to persevere through difficult circumstances reflects his dedication to both his professional aspirations and his calling in music.
