Check Out Ronni Grandberry’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronni Grandberry.

Hi Ronni, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my professional photography journey in 2016, about 6 months after my husband gifted me my 1st camera. Originally, the idea was to just be able to take my own family photos, but it went much further than that. I build my skills by practicing on family and friends, then I quickly put services online to begin accepting clients. My first clients were former high school classmate, and they still are my biggest clientele to date. They have booked me for graduations, weddings, birth announcements and so many more life milestones. I am forever grateful for my high school family.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This road has had its ups ans downs, as with any service industry profession. I am just greatful to still get bookings during this economy.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in Lifestyle & Branding photos. I would say that I am best known for branding and graduation shoots. What sets me apart, is my close attention to details while creating an aesthetic for each shoot.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Outside of my husband, I would have to give credit to Christina Williams and Tamela Ross. They are the owners of The Blakk Co, a social club in Kansas City. I worked closely with them for over a year providing quality content of their club events, as marketing material.
