Hi Bill, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am a second generation Santa, My father portrayed Santa in the late 80’s and Early 90’s, somewhere in the 2000’s i started wearing the suit.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Santa work is very seasonal, and its easy to become complacent with the business in the off season, The road has been bumpy with one of the greatest challenges being that Santa first and foremost should be a listener.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Santa Quas LLC is pretty simple, My wife and I portray Santa and Mrs. Claus we spend the Majority of our Santa Season providing hope Love and Joy to children with difficult situations, Children without the ability to wait in long lines at the mall, Children who need just a few more minute of time to get through that Santa visit.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
If you are a new Santa, just know there is a lot more to it that simply throwing on the red suit with a white beard, People will tell you its all in your heart, but there is a lot more to it than that.
