Today we’d like to introduce you to Connie Gable.
Hi Connie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I came to Tarot in what really feels like a full-circle moment in my life.
I spent many years working as an ICU nurse and then Family Nurse Practitioner, caring for people in a traditional medical setting. But my story actually starts much earlier. Since early adulthood I had intuitive experiences – things like precognitive dreams, and a strong sense of “knowing” about a person or situation.
In the 1970’s and 80’s those kinds of experiences weren’t widely talked about, so I set that part of myself aside and focused on a career in healthcare. For a long time, my work centered on physical healing and caring for others in that way.
Over the years, though, I began to feel pulled back toward that intuitive side of myself. After retiring, I decided to explore those gifts more intentionally. I joined a mediumship development circle, where I was introduced to Tarot and began to see it as a meaningful tool for insight and personal reflection. That experience became the catalyst that eventually led me to become a certified intuitive tarot reader.
In many ways, what I do now is a continuation of the work I’ve always done – just in a different form. Instead of strictly focusing on physical health, I help people gain clarity, reflect on where they are in life, and reconnect with their own inner guidance.
My readings aren’t about predicting the future. I use Tarot as a tool for reflection and conversation, creating a space where people can slow down, feel heard, and leave with a greater sense of direction and understanding.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The start of the business and building the website actually went more smoothly than I expected. I did need some technical help along the way, but I was fortunate to find the right support when I needed it.
The bigger challenge has been something many people can relate to – how busy life has become. It can be difficult for people to slow down and make space for reflection, whether that’s in person or online.
What I’ve found works best best is creating small group settings where people can step away from their day-to day routine. In those gatherings, we might begin with a brief meditation, talk about Tarot, and then offer each person an individual reading. It creates a more relaxed and comfortable environment where people can connect, reflect, and get the most out of the experience.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a certified intuitive Tarot reader, I focus primarily on women, helping them reconnect with their inner strength, intuition, and sense of self – what many would describe as feminine energy.
I’m especially proud of the small group Tarot community that I host each month at a local yoga studio. It’s become a space where women can come together, slow down, and support one another. There’s a real sense of connection in those gatherings – we’ve shared a lot of laughter, some tears, and built meaningful relationships along the way.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t approach Tarot as a way to predict the future. I use it as a tool for reflection and personal growth. Whether in a single private session, or over a longer period of working together, my goal is to help people gain clarity and move forward with greater confidence.
I offer both individual readings and more in-depth experiences over time, where clients can continue that process of reflection and growth with ongoing support.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me right now is a growing sense of awareness – both individually and collectively. I believe we’re at a point where people are beginning to recognize that we’re all more connected than we often realize – to each other and the world around us. When we remember that, it naturally shifts how we treat one another, how we listen, and how we show up in our daily lives. My work is a small part of that remembrance.
