Today we’d like to introduce you to Haley Sparks.
Hi Haley, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into skincare really started in high school when I struggled with acne and ongoing skin concerns. At the time, I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know where to begin or who to trust for guidance. When I went to college, my skin concerns actually worsened, which made me start rethinking my path and what I truly wanted to pursue.
During that time, I discovered esthetics and realized you could actually go to school to study skin health and help others through similar experiences. I decided to pursue my Master Esthetics education in Utah, and while I was in school, I completely fell in love with the industry. For the first time, I truly understood my own skin and learned how to treat and manage it effectively.
After graduating, I moved back to Missouri and joined FACE FOUNDRIÉ, where I gained incredible hands-on experience, deepened my treatment knowledge, and had the opportunity to help clients both relax and achieve real skin results.
As I grew in my career, I felt ready to take the next step and opened my own business, specializing in acne care and spray tanning. One of the most rewarding parts of this industry has been helping people regain confidence and feel comfortable in their own skin. That personal transformation — both mine and my clients’ — is what continues to drive my passion for skincare and education today.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not — opening my business has come with its share of ups and downs. One of the biggest challenges was finding the right location and, even more importantly, choosing professional brands I could genuinely trust to provide effective results for my clients. That process really strengthened my understanding of ingredient education, product performance, and the importance of aligning with brands that stand behind their education and support.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Face Reality Acne Specialist, so I am trained how to clear acne. I also specialize in spray tanning, lash services & dermaplanning. I am mostly known for my facials and spray tans. My goal is to provide the best services to all of my clients. I feel what sets me apart is that I completely customize every service to what the client actually needs, as well as I always educate my clients. I will never place something on someone without telling them what is it / what it does. I always try my products on myself before I use it in my treatment room. Another thing that I feel like sets me a part is that I am an esthetician that still struggles with acne time to time. So I can actually relate to a-lot of my clients and I am very honest with them through the process.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I have learned is to enjoy the process. Yes it is a-lot and stressful but I am so blessed to be in this situation.
