Today we’d like to introduce you to Todd Sandler.
Hi Todd, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started Naturally Wired at only 22 years old in 1995, doing mostly speaker and satellite installations, and have evolved it into a full service home technology company providing smart home systems, audio/video, security, motorized window coverings, lighting systems, and more. I was always good at school, but after a couple semesters of college, I decided it wasn’t for me. So I took an entry level position at Benchmark Home Furnishings, and during my three years there, I worked my way up and into the home theater location. I increased their delivery service offerings by developing and expanding them into home theater and satellite installations. That ignited my entrepreneurial spirit, and I decided to go out on my own.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I was lucky that it started off pretty smoothly. Unfortunately I treated it as a hobby far too long, and we grew quite a bit without me paying attention to building it upon good business practices. It has taken a long time to fix that mistake, but I have learned a lot along the way. I think we are actually better because of it, knowing what not to do again.

We offer elegant, high-performance, and simple-to-use home automation and business technology solutions.
