Meet Lindsey Bodamer of Wild Marketing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Bodamer.

Hi Lindsey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My path to starting Wild Marketing has really grown out of real life. As a wife, mom, and small business owner, I understand what it’s like to juggle responsibilities while trying to build something meaningful. Over the years, I’ve been closely connected to entrepreneurship and small businesses, which has given me a firsthand appreciation for the time, energy, and heart it takes to run one successfully.

As I watched other business owners grow, I began to notice a common challenge. Many were incredibly talented at what they did but didn’t always have the time, structure, or support to consistently show up and communicate their value through marketing. Understanding how important it is for businesses to share their story and connect with their audience is what ultimately led me to start Wild Marketing.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like most small business owners, I’ve learned a lot through trial and error, doing my own research, and leaning on mentors who were willing to share their perspective. There have been plenty of moments where I’ve had to figure things out as I go and trust that consistency would eventually pay off.

One of the biggest challenges has been learning where my time is best spent. When you’re building something from the ground up, there are always more ideas, opportunities, and responsibilities than you can realistically take on. Learning to focus on the areas where I can make the greatest impact has been a process.

I’m also in a season of life where I’m raising young kids and supporting my family in a lot of different ways, so my business has had natural ebbs and flows. That hasn’t always been easy, but it has helped me build something that feels sustainable and adaptable for the long term.

We’ve been impressed with Wild Marketing, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Wild Marketing was created to support small business owners who want to grow their marketing in a way that feels practical and sustainable. As a small business owner myself, I understand that many entrepreneurs are balancing a lot of responsibilities, and marketing can often feel overwhelming or difficult to prioritize. My goal is to help make that process more approachable and intentional.

Through Wild Marketing, I offer services including social media management, content creation, website design, marketing strategy, and administrative support. Some businesses are looking for someone to fully manage their marketing, while others simply need guidance, organization, or help bringing their ideas to life. Because of that, flexibility is a big part of how I work with clients. I aim to meet business owners where they are and help them build a marketing approach that fits their goals and their capacity.

What I’m most proud of with Wild Marketing is the opportunity to work alongside passionate business owners and help them share their story in a way that feels aligned with who they are.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how important patience and consistency really are. Growth almost never happens as quickly as you hope it will, whether you’re building a business or just trying to make progress in life. A lot of it comes down to continuing to show up and do the work, even when it feels like things are moving slowly.

Consistency has probably been the biggest game changer for me. Taking small, steady steps forward has helped me work through challenges, uncertainty, and seasons where motivation isn’t always high. Not every idea works, and not every effort leads to immediate results, but over time that consistency starts to build momentum.

It’s helped me stay focused on long-term progress instead of quick wins, and that perspective has shaped how I approach both my business and everyday life.
