Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Lisztwan.
Hi Daniel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Building has always been a passion of mine, from building tree houses as a kid to renovating my own real estate throughout the years . My career began in the oilfield in the foothills of Canadian Rockies as a young engineering graduate. My faith in Christ has always been at the center of all I do so much so I made the decision to resign and study at Bible school in Kansas City. I was hired as a Youth Pastor shortly after and worked nearly 10years in that field. Two years ago I made the decision to start my own business focussing on high end bathrooms and kitchens. It has been a rewarding experience taking concepts from the customer and bring them to reality. My business moto is building life in living spaces. The home is place where the family grows and as such my team is ready to step in and meet that need. With my engineering background I come ready to bring solutions to my customer’’s needs.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
You never know what you’re going to uncover when you knock down a wall or open up the floor. Sagging floors, crooked walls, ancient wiring/plumbing, even a carpenter ant nest have all been issues we have had to work through and more! Being a business owner can be a scary experience. You are a tree in an open field in a sense. Everything lands on you at the end of day. Its hard but one of the most rewarding experiences I have had!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At Semente Home Solutions, we are dedicated to making your home dreams a reality. We specialize in bathroom and kitchen renovations, combining expert craftsmanship with creative design in every project. Our team collaborates with you to breathe new life into your living spaces.
How do you define success?
Success is putting your best effort into every situation, recognizing your limitations and therefore building a team that can add the strength where needed. Some of my most successful days were when I hit a wall, forced myself to stop, stepped away and only came back when I or my team found a solution. Customers except results in a timely fashion but at the end of the day we all can agree we want the job done right. It takes humility but ultimately patience becomes an asset
