Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Davis.
Hi Bailey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When my daughter was born I knew I wanted to capture every single moment. When she was a couple weeks old I purchased my first nice camera, and books-so many books. I studied posing, prompts, client relationships and more. One day someone asked me to do family photos, which led to more. Once I photographed my first wedding I absolutely fell in love, with framing love in my lens.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Juggling a business as a first time single mom- led to many first times. I had a lot of mentors to reach out to along the road but it wasn’t an easy road. Balancing equipment cost and upkeep, while maintaining leads and relationships was a full job in itself.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I do all types of photography with my main focus on weddings. I’m known to communicate easy with, and most importantly I get along with all of my clients. Even considering them friends. I’m very proud of myself knowing over 40 couples have trusted me for such big moments. My priority is making sure my couples enjoy their day making memories to look back on, not focus on did I get this picture?
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I think the first time I viewed myself as successful was hearing a previous couple had recommended me to someone they knew.
