Community Highlights: Meet Amber Weyrauch of Socially Inspired Management

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Weyrauch.

Hi Amber, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I founded Socially Inspired in early 2021 after realizing it was time for a new season—one where I could build a career that aligned with the life I wanted for my family. As a mom of three daughters, I felt the constant tension between work and home, and I wanted them to see firsthand what it looks like to boldly create the life and career you believe in.

My educational and professional background is actually in counseling and ministry, where I wrote curriculum, led trainings, managed projects, and supported marketing and communications efforts. Along the way, I began managing social media for other organizations, and what started as side work quickly grew into something bigger. Socially Inspired was born from that experience and has since grown from a solo venture into a thriving agency and team serving businesses ready to grow with intention.

Over time, my work has evolved beyond social media management into strategic marketing and communications support. At the same time, I’ve had the opportunity to begin teaching marketing and communications courses at MidAmerica Nazarene University, which allows me to invest in and shape the next generation entering this field.

At the heart of everything I do is a belief that no two businesses are the same, so their marketing strategies shouldn’t be either. My approach is deeply collaborative and high-touch, helping business owners clarify their message, strengthen their strategy, and grow with confidence.

Today, I’m grateful to lead an agency I love while also helping future marketers discover their path—continuing the work of building businesses and people up along the way.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. In the beginning, I led with “yes.” I was willing to try anything and help in any way I could because I wanted to serve well and grow the business. That openness created great opportunities, but it also meant learning the hard way that not every service fits my strengths, and not every service is something I love doing.

There were definitely seasons of overextending myself and taking on work that wasn’t aligned, simply because I didn’t yet know where my lane truly was. That process took time and, honestly, a bit of discomfort. But those experiences helped me refine my offerings, clarify where I provide the most value, and niche down to work with clients who align with both my expertise and who I am as a business owner.

Looking back, those challenges were necessary as they shaped the business into what it is today.

As you know, we’re big fans of Socially Inspired Management . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Socially Inspired is a marketing and communications agency focused on helping growing businesses bring clarity and consistency to how they show up. We support companies through strategy, content, and campaign execution, and often step into a fractional Director of Marketing and Communications role to help align marketing efforts with overall business goals.

Over time, the business has evolved from primarily social media management into more strategy-led work, supporting leadership teams as they scale and refine their brand and communications. Our work is collaborative by nature, and we operate as an extension of our clients’ teams rather than as an outside vendor.

What I’m most proud of is building a business known for thoughtful strategy, strong client relationships, and marketing that feels aligned with each company’s unique identity. At its core, Socially Inspired exists to help businesses communicate clearly and grow with intention, while giving business owners greater confidence in their marketing direction.

What makes you happy?
Spending time with my family. They are at the heart of what I do. From showing my daughters what it looks like to work hard and build something for yourself, to being more present to support my husband’s growing business as well. They are what drives me every single day and what brings a smile to my face.
