Today we’d like to introduce you to Pegah Kamgar.
Hi Pegah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey has been shaped by a blend of professional leadership and deep personal growth. I began my career in the corporate and tech world, leading teams and working in high-pressure environments, while simultaneously being drawn to healing, self-development, and the inner work that supports emotional wellbeing.
Over time, those two paths came together. Today, I work primarily with women, supporting them through coaching, nervous-system-informed practices, and immersive experiences. I’m trained in NLP, somatic and breathwork practices, energy work, and trauma-informed facilitation, and I bring over a decade of experience guiding women through personal transformation. bondU Retreat was created as a space where structure meets soul – offering grounded, embodied experiences that help women reconnect with themselves, regulate their nervous systems, and build authentic, meaningful connections.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like most meaningful paths, there have been pivots along the way – especially when it came to scaling my work while staying true to myself. One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to grow without losing the soul of what I do.
I’ve had to consciously choose authenticity over trends, and depth over speed, while also learning to honour my time, energy, and worth as a practitioner and facilitator. Balancing being heart-led without becoming underpaid or overextended has been an ongoing learning process.
Those moments of recalibration ultimately shaped bondU into what it is today – a business that’s rooted in integrity, sustainability, and work that feels aligned rather than purely finance-driven.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work focuses on supporting women in reconnecting with their bodies, regulating their nervous systems, and creating lives and relationships that feel safe, grounded, and authentic. I specialize in nervous-system-informed coaching, somatic practices, breathwork, and immersive retreat experiences that bridge emotional healing with embodiment.
I’m known for creating spaces that feel deeply safe yet transformative – where women don’t feel rushed, fixed, or pushed, but truly met. What I’m most proud of is the way my work helps women move out of over-intellectualizing healing and into lived, embodied change that actually integrates into their everyday lives.
What sets me apart is the balance I bring between structure and soul. With a background in leadership and systems, combined with intuitive and trauma-informed facilitation, I create experiences that are both grounded and expansive. I don’t believe in bypassing or quick fixes – I believe in sustainable, nervous-system-led transformation that honours the whole person.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always very curious – deeply interested in people, life, and the world around me. I had a strong, independent exterior, but underneath that I was quite sensitive and intuitive. I felt things deeply, even if I didn’t always have the language for it at the time.
I was drawn to experiencing life rather than just being told about it. Nature, animals, creativity, and self-expression were where I felt most alive. Structure and rigid systems never really suited me – especially in traditional learning environments. I learned best by exploring on my own, following my curiosity, and moving at my own pace. Looking back, that combination of sensitivity, independence, and a desire for lived experience shaped not only who I am, but the way I work with others today.
