Daily Inspiration: Meet Mark Muller II

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Muller II.

Hi Mark, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story starts the way any good story should: right here in Kansas City, Missouri. I grew up here and have called this area my home for my entire life. I am a life long Chiefs, Royals, and Mizzou fan! I went to The Barstow School right off of Stateline road and made many life long friends and connections. After high school, I went to UCM in Warrensburg, Missouri and graduated in December of 2011 with my degree in communications. I worked for Home Advisor in Lenexa, Kansas for 3 years before I finally started my journey in the car world. My family has been in the car industry in one way or another since the mid to late 70’s. My mother and father actually met selling cars. My mother, father, brothers, wife, daughter, and whole family in general are my biggest supporters and why I love what I do. I have had others in my life that have been key to my journey, like everyone at ARC base out of Clinton owned by Justin Osburn, everyone involved with NCM based down by the Plaza, and hundreds more. If I didn’t have amazing people training, teaching, and growing me throughout my life, I would not be who I am today.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. Life has a way of always putting new obstacles in your path. We had some major problems a few years ago and we are working through them but like most businesses we had to make some very hard choices that really hurt our trajectory. We are through the worst of it and Max Motors is back to selling all new American Made vehicles. We have 5 locations and are starting to ramp up to have a big bounce back this spring.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Max Motors is a group of franchise dealerships that sell new and used vehicles. We are known as “the easiest place to buy a car” and deliver vehicles all over the country from coast to coast. I am very proud of our group and the great people we have surrounded ourselves with. That’s what also sets us apart from other dealerships. When you have good people that care about the communities they work in and are actually giving back, it makes all the hard days worth it. Its not just about selling and servicing vehicles, it’s about the people you help along the way that make a lasting impact.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
We are not perfect and never will be, that is life. But we will do everything we can to help you with any automotive needs you might have. And when you purchase a vehicle from us, you are a part of our family.
