Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Aaron.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my journey in January 2008 as an aspiring network marketer with a big dream of owning my own business—but honestly, no clear picture of what that would look like. At the time, I was working as a 911 operator and was introduced to the health and wellness industry because I needed to get healthy.
That decision changed my life. By learning how to properly fuel my body, I lost 50 pounds in just five months and was able to come off several medications. It was eye-opening to experience firsthand what can happen when you give your body what it truly needs.
Over the past 18 years, this journey has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. I’ve had the opportunity to own multiple nutrition bar locations and, more importantly, to meet and work alongside so many incredible, caring people. My most current location is T-Town Nutrition in Tonganoxie, Kansas, which has been open for nearly six years and continues to be a place rooted in community, connection, and wellness.
Along the way, I became a yoga instructor, a wellness and lifestyle coach, and I’m now pursuing my path as an aspiring master herbalist. What I love most about this journey is the opportunity to pour into others—to share my light, my soul, and my experience with people who may feel like they’re out of options. Being able to walk alongside others as they reclaim their health, confidence, and hope is what continues to fuel my passion every single day.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth every fall. Life was never meant to be perfect—God intended it to be lived and guided in His light. Business, like life, comes with ups and downs, and that’s why this path isn’t meant for everyone. But for me, it’s been exactly right.
Owning my time has been one of the greatest gifts of this journey. This business allowed me to create flexibility, freedom, and most importantly, to be a present mom—something I’ve always valued deeply. That balance, paired with purpose, is what has made this journey truly fulfilling.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work is rooted in health, wellness, and community. I own and operate T-Town Nutrition in Tonganoxie, Kansas, where I specialize in helping people build sustainable, healthy lifestyles through proper nutrition, education, and personalized support. I focus on meeting people where they are and helping them make realistic changes that lead to lasting results.
I’m known for my heart-centered approach to wellness. I don’t believe in quick fixes—I believe in consistency, balance, and empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to take ownership of their health. My background as a wellness and lifestyle coach, yoga instructor, and aspiring master herbalist allows me to look at the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—rather than just one piece of the puzzle.
What I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built. Creating a safe, welcoming space where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged is everything to me. What sets me apart is my lived experience—I’ve walked this journey myself. I understand the challenges, the setbacks, and the victories, and I lead with empathy, authenticity, and faith. Helping others rediscover their strength and hope is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t know that I believe in luck, whether good or bad. What I do believe in is the power of energy—both low and high—and our ability to create the environment we live in. How we show up each day is a choice.
As I’ve grown older and wiser, I’ve realized that we have the ability to choose our energy. Choosing joy, choosing light, and choosing how we impact others is intentional. When I choose to share my joy and light with you, that is a conscious decision—one rooted in purpose, presence, and love.
