Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Webb.
Michelle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been a physical therapist for 14 years and have worked in almost every setting. Five years into my career, a colleague suggested that I should look into specializing in pelvic health. At first, I was hesitant, as it felt like a big change from the orthopedic/neurology setting I was comfortable in. I’m so thankful for her, as it helped me realize my passion for pelvic health and helping patients with pelvic health symptoms.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I opened my business in 2020, which was a challenge with everything in regards to Covid. That first year was very chaotic! When I opened, I was confident in myself as a physical therapist, but was unsure of how owning/running a business would go. I’m fortunate to have mentors and help from people in different fields that have helped me tremendously along the way.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We specialize in treating pelvic health issues, such as pelvic pain, urinary/bowel issues, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum. A lot of these issues people think are normal and something they have to live with, but they are treatable and can really improve a person’s quality of life. We take pride in listening to our patients and creating an environment where they feel safe to share and heal without judgement. Our goal is to help our patients improve their symptoms so they can feel confident and live life without worrying about any pelvic health issues.
