Daily Inspiration: Meet Tragik

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tragik .

Tragik

Hi Tragik, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My Story is a reflection of my name. The older I get, the more relevant the “Tragik” name becomes unfortunately. I’ve lived a rough life, and music was one of the few constants that had growing up. I very quickly realized that I wanted to create. Music was a release for me, it was my girlfriend, my therapy and my comfort zone.

It started around age 13 when I started teaching myself how to play guitar. This was before the internet, It was alot of trial and error. I was influenced by classic rock, metal and Hip-hop. I grew up on Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Lamb Of God, Tech N9ne, ICP, Twiztid and the whole Psychopathic Records roster from the early 2000’s.

I’m working on my 3rd studio album currently. It will be dropping this year.

2025 has been the hardest year of my life. My wife, who I’ve been with for almost 15 years, passed away suddenly back in May. Her name was Felicia, she was 38 years young & It crushed my entire fucking world. Everything stopped. Eating, taking care of myself, and the music. It’s been almost 8 months since she passed, and im starting to pick up the pen. Writing and creating is one of the few things keeping me going.
.
I created a song for my wife, and a very emotional Music video. It was incredibly difficult to write, Let alone record! It was very therapeutic though. I believe it’s the best song I’ve ever done.

“Swan Song” will be released everywhere on 1-15-26. That’s her Birthday. For the best experience, I suggest you watch the music video on my Youtube channel

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Its been a hard road. Most of my friends are all dead. As I said, my Wife died in May of 2025 and I’m still learning how to live without her. It has changed me, and my new music I’m working on, reflects that.

I put everything I had into this new project im working on. Music & my kids are all I have left now, and I am laser focused on them both.

I look forward to sharing my new project with everybody.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I write, play guitar, record, mix & master my own music. I also produce some of my beats.

I pride myself in the quality of my music. I’ve invested a lot of money and an insane amount of time, working on my recording & mixing techniques.

If a song sounds amateur, listeners these days will know immediately. A better song is only a swipe away. So it’s very important for me to get it right.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was a shy boy who got bullied a lot lol. I did terrible in school because of this. Again, music became my escape. I Fell in with a tough crowd, and got into some bad things.

I was a quiet kid until I got the courage to play my guitar in a school talent show. I got a standing ovation lol. After that school was a lot better. This was a turning point where I knew I had to do something with music.
