Today we’d like to introduce you to Arthur Dachiardi.
Arthur, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Greetings my name is Arthur Dachiardi and I created the company VRBE! I developed a prototype visually explaining what VRBE is on my website at www.VRBE.com. VRBE stands for Virtual Reality Bible Experience. It is designed to help us develop a better understanding of the words of God by being able to fully immerse ourselves virtually within the King James Bible. While portraying a character of our choosing and acting out their scene in a first person point of view, VRBE introduces a new dimension of faith allowing us to create deeper and more meaningful experiences that the Bible has to offer, never before imagined. All while building a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ! Up until VRBE was even an idea, I had an extremely profound moment in my life where God showed me something incredibly supernatural. Afterward I told myself okay, everything I had believed surrounding the word faith, has now become a truth. What I had brushed off in in the past as something that may or may not have been true like God or angels, or even hell and demons, was unveiled before my eyes. From that moment on, I decided to live my life fully committed to learning about what our God truly is.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has indeed been a very difficult one to say the least. Although, being a passenger and knowing who’s got the wheel, gives a me a profound feeling of peace and purpose along the way! Almost a decade ago I asked God what I could do for him that no one before has, with his response being, virtual reality Bible. I had never even used or much heard about virtual reality until then, so the feeling of despair truly overshadowed me. I knew it was going to be a journey, but as I slowly realized, this might be the most important advancement towards our spiritual growth since the King James Bible was first published. I was around the age of 27 when I decided to go to college in search of a computer science degree, to pursue a recently offered bachelors degree in virtual reality at that time. Shortly after college had begun, I got married, had children, and was working part time. After sometime, I decided to try my hand at developing this virtual Bible at home with a laptop, an online tutorial, and the most important of all, a vision. I did in fact finish college, but not for a computer science degree, as it became impossible to attend certain classes while being a parent. The dream of a virtual reality degree was out of reach, but the pursuit of a prototype I was developing at home was not! After years of tip toeing to the computer, trying not to wake our children, between working and school trying to find the time to have any time, I had done it. I accomplished what I had set out to accomplish. I was finally able to baptize Jesus Christ, while portraying John in the Gospel of Mathew from chapter 3, and the feeling was unimaginable! I soon realized that this incredibly challenging road I found myself on, was just the beginning.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
After developing a sample of this vision of the Bible, as someone with no experience in development, I made the decision to seek a professional virtual reality development team to help turn this application into a reality, making it accessible to everyone. I’ve always been known for pushing the limits of my passions to the most extreme, whether it be sports when I was younger, skateboarding during my adolescence, or never even missing a day of school in my entire life, dedication is something I admire most about my spirit. The Bible made me realize my dedicative purpose, which helped me easily decide to make VRBE my life’s work.
What matters most to you?
After responding to me when I asked God what I could do for Him, I also asked Him to provide help. He blessed me with children, and gave me the realization that my children need to know Him as much as I do. This awareness led me to understanding how much all of God’s children need to know Him more, and exactly why VRBE is so important! VRBE is such an important piece of the mystery that is God, that I went back to installing carpet to raise enough capital to hire a development team. During that time, God blessed me with another idea for VRBE business cards that I would be able to pass out to every customer I did a carpet job for, and anyone I meet along the way. As one of the photos will show, VRBE business cards have on one side the direct link to the website, and on the back, an area designed to write God a message. These business cards are tomato seed infused and plantable, birthing the idea of, “Ask and ye shall receive”. The idea is ask God for anything, plant it, and receive the answer to your question in the form of a tomato! I personally asked on my business card, “Dear God, please bless these seeds that they may produce the cure to any incurable disease”. This ask would just about cover Alzheimers, cancer, or any other sickness that we have no cure for, that I assume only God can provide! Helping the world reach Jesus is the goal of VRBE, and curing them along the way is what makes VRBE business cards so special. These are the things which matter most, and why I do what I do. In order to generate more revenue, I decided to write a book titled, “Why He Waits,” that you are able to discover on the VRBE website as well! I am still currently in the process of raising capital to turn VRBE into a user friendly application.
