Community Highlights: Meet Dr Jeremy D Kobler DC, CACCP of Kobler Chiropractic and Acupuncture LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr Jeremy D Kobler DC CACCP.

Hi Jeremy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story is long one, but we will keep this to the short version. I was in college trying to find the one thing I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was preparing for medical school and psychiatry to follow my grandfather’s MD background, my dad being a clinical psychologist thought maybe I wouldn’t enjoy that as much as I thought I would and thankfully, he did. Knowing what I know now about the pharmaceutical and insurance industry and its stronghold over the allopathic medical establishment I am glad I am not a part of that. I was going to a Doctor of Chiropractic while I was in college as an undergrad student and he told me that there was a Chiropractic College in Kansas City, so I took a tour of the campus and decided that this was the right career path for me and what I think healthcare should be. As Mr. Robert F. Kennedy is showing the world now the dark side of medicine and the lies attached to it, I am so happy I chose this path!
There have been times of struggle and the ups and downs as most business’s go through, as well as really great times. Most importantly taking care of people and helping them reach their healthcare needs and goals, that often the Allopathic medical establishment and its pharmaceuticals miss or flat do not know how to properly care for. Health does not come with a prescription or pill period. Where I am today comes from the long days and hours put into the clinics and caring for those who need it. I could elaborate further, but we can save that for another day.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Our biggest struggle for any DC is the mainstream media, the pharmaceutical and insurance industries, along with people’s beliefs that are based on the lies told by the mainstream media and all of its drug ads we are constantly blasted with. It is hard to fight against a multi trillion-dollar industry who wants your profession to cease to exist! Doctors of Chiropractic have not had their fee schedules increased with insurance companies since the 1980’s to my knowledge. This is because they are in bed with the pharmaceutical industry, it is not as if they even try to keep this secret. Our government is so corrupt that ALL of the agencies who are supposed to protect all of us like the FDA, CDC, USDA etc and those corrupt elected officials that are supposed to protect us NOT CORPORATIONS. Yet people keep voting for the same incumbents over and over again! VOTE 3rd PARTY PEOPLE, all the rest are bought and paid for.

DC’s who are in large part against using pharmaceuticals for everything, it is overkill and making Americans sicker than ever in HUMAN HISTORY. That is not to say that under specific circumstance that people will absolutely need pharmaceutical therapies of sorts. Especially trauma circumstances. The United States has probably the BEST emergency and trauma care in the world. However, it is NOT profitable for that industry to keep the population healthy. The SICK CARE model is what they thrive on. That is not GOOD HEALTH, that is creating a patient for life. This is why you have all of the “screenings” for different things like diabetes. That is early detection, NOT PREVENTION, so that they can start giving you prescriptions sooner and more of them! So, I would say the biggest obstacle is educating the American and Global population, and helping them to realize and see that there are much better ways to approach your health and ACTUALLY BE HEALTHY!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have had Kobler Chiropractic and Acupuncture since 10-17-2012, our current KCMO location at 500 NW Englewood Road KCMO 64118, opened in March 2014, our mobile clinic began in 2018 and my newest Kansas facility is in the Advent Health Sports Park at Bluhawk located inside of the C26 Hub at 16201 Shawnee Drive Overland Park, KS 66223.

I have advanced education and certifications from the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association), board certified in Acupuncture, we also do dry needling, cupping, kinesiology taping, graston, among other things to help the body function at its peak potential.

This is a point to stress; YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN PAIN TO ENJOY the BENFITS of CHIROPRACTIC and ACUPUNCTURE CARE. Chiropractic care absolutely addresses pain issues from low back pain and headaches and other basic aches and pains. What Doctors of Chiropractic are really thriving to help each person achieve is improved nervous system function. The better your nervous system functions the better the body function which all equates to GOOD HEALTH. Prescriptions do not offer this; they offer relief of some symptoms and often create more side effects than the prescription actually helps reduce! Doctors of Chiropractic are all about helping your body do what it already INNATELY does, we just help it work better when it needs a little push. Pun intended…

Our north clinic in KCMO sees a large range of people from families with children, to grandparents, Veterans and VA referrals, athletes and everything in between. Our mobile clinic is for businesses who wish to help keep their employees as productive as possible. This is an investment in their employees which pays off with less absenteeism, less presenteeism and more production all around. We currently service many local fire stations in the Kansas City area, as well as trucking companies, which I will also mention that we are working on adding DOT physicals to our mobile services, Something that local trucking companies and anyone who requires a DOT medical exam to drive should take advantage of!
Our newest location in Overland Park, KS is more sports driven as there are athletes ranging from 5yo soccer, volleyball, baseball and hockey players to professional athletes in the NFL, MLB and so on. The same idea of FUNCTION applies to them more than anyone! They cannot afford injury, so they utilize Chiropractic care to help them improve performance not wait until it becomes painful before they address it. Your everyday person should look at Chiropractic care the same way high level athletes would. Why would you wait until you have pain rather than prevent it from happening at all while at the same time improving your overall health? The chiropractic profession and mindset would lead to a far healthier community and country if they were to adopt our healthy philosophy rather than the SICK CARE model of the pharmaceutical industry, media have most Americans stuck in and do nothing to help improve health only profit.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was more of a shy kid. I was vaccine injured by the MMR vaccine at 3yoa, which led to the ER and nearly death, I still have complications from that which affect me today. One being ruining my vision, if not corrected with glasses/contacts. So, I was picked on for being the smallest and having the coke bottle glasses and the typical kid experience when you’re seen as the little dork with glasses. Then after I got contact lenses in 7th grade my life changed quite a bit, I started wrestling and weight training, got more friends and with the muscle growing. I stopped getting messed with by other kids and instead I was able to help other kids NOT get bullied!

I was really into weights and World Strongest Man contests and body building, part of me wished I had pursued that more, and I may still do a body building competition one day. These days I can still be shy, but I have learned to be an Extroverted Introvert, get past being uncomfortable, that is how we grow is being in uncomfortable situations and just do it because it is what has to be done to succeed!
