Inspiring Conversations with Chuck Moore of Moore Business GP. CO

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chuck Moore.

Hi Chuck, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a proud native of Kansas City, Missouri, shaped by a strong Christian upbringing that taught me early the value of service, integrity, and purpose. Growing up, my foundation was built on faith, family, and responsibility—and those core values have guided everything I’ve done in my adult life.

From a young age, I learned what it meant to show up for people. That naturally evolved into me becoming a provider—not just in the traditional sense, but in every aspect of my work and leadership. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to being a provider of care, especially through my work in healthcare, case management, and community education. I’ve served seniors, families, and vulnerable populations with a commitment to dignity and compassion.

I’m also a provider of resources and distribution, whether through grocery access initiatives, community-based programs, or brand development across the companies I lead. My purpose has always been tied to making sure people have what they need—support, education, or opportunity.

My story is rooted in service. Every role I’ve taken, every business I’ve built, and every community effort I’ve led has one mission: to empower, educate, and uplift. I stand on the belief that when you pour into others, the community grows stronger. And as someone raised on faith, I carry that calling with me daily.

Kansas City raised me, faith grounded me, and service shaped the man I am today.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve faced my share of obstacles, and many of them started with my environment. Growing up, I had to learn early how to navigate situations that didn’t always provide the resources, opportunities, or guidance that I needed. I had to become self-driven out of necessity. That environment built resilience in me, but it also came with challenges—like learning how to believe in myself even when the world around me didn’t always reflect what I knew I could become.

One of my biggest obstacles has been overcoming insecurity. There were times in my life when I doubted my abilities, questioned whether I was good enough, or felt uncertain about my path. Those insecurities could’ve easily held me back, but instead they pushed me to grow, to work harder, and to build confidence through experience and discipline.

Another challenge was learning how to ask for help. For a long time, I carried everything alone—responsibilities, expectations, even struggles. I felt like I had to be strong at all times. But I learned that asking for help is not weakness, it’s wisdom. It allows people to support you, teach you, and walk with you. Success isn’t meant to be a solo journey.

I also had to overcome the fear of asking questions. There were moments when I stayed quiet to avoid looking inexperienced or unprepared. But life taught me that asking the right questions is how you elevate. It’s how you learn, grow, and avoid repeating mistakes.

My obstacles shaped me. They built character, strength, humility, and empathy. They taught me to push through fear, rise above doubt, and continuously evolve. Those challenges didn’t break me—they sharpened me. They prepared me for the work I do today, and they continue to remind me that growth often comes from the places we’re most afraid to face.

We’ve been impressed with Moore Business GP. CO, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At my core, everything I do is centered around service—whether it’s through business, healthcare, or community advocacy. I am the CEO of Moore Business Group, a brand management company that oversees multiple ventures and helps develop, grow, and guide brands with intention and strategy. My ideal day is spent doing exactly what I love: managing and running brands from the ground up. Today, I operate four companies and manage a portfolio of 15 brands, each with its own mission, audience, and impact.

My work extends deeply into healthcare and community support. I’ve spent years serving in healthcare administration, especially through my work in memory care and senior support. I also serve as a Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, helping families, caregivers, and professionals better understand dementia and how to navigate it. In addition, I work as a Case Manager with the American Red Cross, where I focus on Restoring Family Links, helping reconnect families who have been separated by conflict, migration, or crisis.

Recently, I was appointed as a State and Federal Advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association’s AIM Program (Alzheimer’s Impact Movement). In this bipartisan role, I work directly with local councilmembers, state legislators, and federal senators to push for stronger Alzheimer’s education, resources, and dementia-related services. This advocacy work allows me to use my voice on behalf of families, caregivers, and individuals affected by Alzheimer’s across Missouri.

Across every sector of my career—from business and branding, to healthcare, to advocacy—my work always comes back to one thing: service. Serving people, serving communities, and building systems that make life better for someone else. That is the driving force behind everything I do.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest—above anything else—is being a father. I have a 14-year-old son, and we do everything together. Whether it’s working out, building brands, creating new ideas, or just talking about life, he inspires me in ways I never expected. I learn from him every day. Being a father is my greatest role, and the bond we share fuels everything I do. He keeps me grounded, motivated, and focused on the legacy I want to leave behind.

Beyond fatherhood, happiness for me comes from service—showing up for others, putting a smile on someone’s face, and being part of solutions that make our community stronger. I find joy in helping people, connecting with them, learning from them, and contributing to the growth of those around me.

I am also happiest when I’m taking care of myself—mentally, physically, and spiritually. Prioritizing health at every level has given me clarity, purpose, and peace. I’m grateful to be at a place in life where I understand that happiness starts within, and it grows when you are aligned with the right people, the right energy, and the right intentions.

What makes me happy is simple: being a father, being of service, being part of a great community, and becoming a better version of myself every day.
