Hi jim, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been fascinated by mechanical things. Been around cars since I could see over the fenders. Anytime there was a hood up in the neighborhood, I was there. After high school, I started at Goodyear Tire as a mechanic and worked my way up to Service Manager. Then I started working at GM dealers in the early 90s and stayed until 2013 when I bought the current location of Midwest Auto Services.
My primary motivation for running my own shop is the decline of personal client service. It used to be people knew who they were dealing with and had a relationship with them. Now you have an app or some impersonal computer to talk to. Not with us.
While we still utilize the perks of automation for convenience, when it comes to your vehicle, you need the best information you can get to make an informed decision. That’s why at Midwest Auto Services, you always have a friendly and familiar face to speak to regarding your cars repair and your concerns. We don’t pressure people to buy. We just give you the best factual information available and allow you to make your own decision.
