Hi Ryan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ervsflics Real Estate Media began with an unexpected twist in my life. During my junior year of high school, I suffered a knee injury playing football that ended my season and, in many ways, changed my future. Up until that point, I had never been into photography honestly, I had never even picked up a camera. But after getting hurt, I was determined to stay connected to the team in some way. That’s when I grabbed my grandma’s old Nikon D3500 camera and decided to start photographing our games.
What began as a simple way to support my teammates quickly grew into something much bigger. I became known as “the guy with the camera,” capturing the spirit of Friday night lights and sharing those moments online. I’d stay up late sometimes until 2 a.m. Sorting through hundreds of photos just to get them out to the community by morning. The excitement from classmates, players, and the community showed me how powerful sharing moments could be.
Soon, I wanted to take it a step further. I got T-shirts, hats, and hoodies made with my logo and started selling them around school. Before long, it felt like almost everyone was wearing Ervsflics merch. Seeing people proudly rep something I had built from scratch made me realize that this was more than just photography it was a brand, and it had potential.
Over time, that new passion evolved into a purpose. I began working with real estate agents and investors who needed professional, eye-catching media to elevate their listings and attract buyers. Recognizing the gap in high-quality, local real estate content, I founded Ervsflics Real Estate Media a full-service production company helping agents showcase properties at their best through stunning photos, videos, and marketing materials.
Today, Ervsflics is one of Kansas City’s fastest-growing real estate media companies. We’ve built our reputation on creativity, fast turnaround times, and a personal touch that helps clients stand out in a crowded market.
What started with a football injury and old camera has grown into a thriving business built on passion, purpose, and the belief that every property deserves to be seen in its best light.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been an easy road. There have been highs and lows, but I wouldn’t change any part of this journey. I truly believe the struggles we face are placed in front of us for a reason.For me, the hardest part has been stepping out of my comfort zone when growth demanded it. From pitching my services to a room of 100+ people, to making bold changes inside my business that felt unfamiliar but necessary, to facing situations I didn’t feel fully ready for but choosing to take action anyway and figure it out along the way.Because at the end of the day, being an entrepreneur is like jumping off a cliff and building the airplane on your way down. And that’s exactly what makes the journey worth it

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing people might not know about me is that I’m a visionary. I manifest everything I’ve accomplished and everything I’m working toward in the future. That mindset has allowed me to think big and achieve so much in such a short amount of time. I truly believe that if you can see it in your mind first, it’s possible in real life you just have to be willing to chase it.
