Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniele Collard.
Hi Daniele, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey with Denture Crafters began with a deep passion for helping people smile again. I started in the dental field 14 years ago, and over time, I saw how much confidence a well-crafted prosthetic could give someone — that realization inspired me to go further.
What began as a passion for helping people achieve proper dental care through dental offices grew into leading a dedicated team that shares the same mission: to restore smiles with precision, care, and compassion. Today, as the president of Denture Crafters, I’m proud to say we’ve evolved into an employee-owned dental lab focused on what truly matters — patient-centered care, innovation, and community.
Through years of learning, adapting to new digital technologies, and partnering with dental offices across the nation, we’ve built more than a business; we’ve built a family of professionals united by purpose. Every denture that leaves our lab represents craftsmanship, teamwork, and a smile worth sharing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but every challenge has shaped who I am as a leader and who we are as a company. In this industry, there are constant changes in technology, materials, and expectations. Early on, there were times when adapting to new systems or managing growth felt overwhelming. Like many small businesses, we’ve faced economic shifts and the balancing act between maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was leading through a fire that deeply impacted our operations. It tested our resilience as a team and forced us to focus on what truly mattered — our people and our patients. Coming out of that experience made us stronger, more united, and even more committed to our purpose.
Leadership has also come with growing pains — learning how to empower others, share responsibility, and build a culture of ownership and trust. Through it all, we’ve stayed grounded in our mission: helping patients smile again. Every obstacle has become an opportunity to improve our systems, strengthen our team, and build a more sustainable future for everyone involved.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Denture Crafters is a full-service prosthetic dental lab specializing in dentures and partials. Our mission is simple but powerful — to restore confidence and improve quality of life, one smile at a time. We take pride in blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to deliver consistent, high-quality results for dental professionals and their patients.
What truly sets us apart is our people and our purpose. We’re not just a dental lab; we’re a team of dedicated technicians and leaders who care deeply about every case that comes through our doors. Each denture is made with precision and compassion, reflecting our commitment to both artistry and function. Our focus on communication and partnership with dental offices ensures that every doctor — and every patient — feels supported throughout the process.
We’ve also embraced digital advancements, including 3D printing and scanning, which allow us to produce highly accurate, efficient, and comfortable prosthetics. Yet even as we modernize, we’ve never lost the personal touch that defines who we are.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust we’ve built — with our clients, our community, and within our own team. We’re known for standing behind our work and doing what’s right for the patient, always. Whether it’s a complex full denture case or a simple repair, our goal is the same: deliver excellence with empathy.
For readers, I’d love them to know that Denture Crafters isn’t just about creating dentures — it’s about restoring smiles, dignity, and confidence. Every piece we create carries that purpose, and that’s what keeps us passionate about what we do every single day.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have so many people play a role in my journey and in Denture Crafters’ success. Leading a business is never a solo effort — it’s built on teamwork, trust, and the belief others place in you along the way.
First and foremost, I have to recognize our amazing team at Denture Crafters. Their dedication, skill, and heart are what make everything possible. They show up every day with the same passion I have for restoring smiles, and their commitment to our mission inspires me constantly. From our technicians to our front office, every person contributes to our success in a meaningful way.
Amber Rosema has also been an incredible source of support and partnership. Her leadership, loyalty, and shared vision have been invaluable — she truly embodies the spirit of what Denture Crafters stands for.
On a more personal note, my mother, Michele Kessner, and husband Nick Collard, have both been huge influences in shaping who I am today. From my mother, I learned what true hard work and dedication to a company really mean — she showed me what it looks like to lead with integrity and commitment. She’s the reason I have such a strong work ethic and drive.
My husband has been my biggest cheerleader and teacher when it comes to building relationships. He taught me the importance of connecting with people, maintaining trust, and turning those relationships into lasting partnerships. His natural ability to combine sales skills with genuine care has inspired the way I approach client relationships and leadership.
Between my mom’s work ethic, my husband’s relationship-building skills, and my own heart and passion for helping patients, I’ve been able to lead with balance, empathy, and purpose. I’m grateful every day for the people who have shaped, supported, and believed in me — they’re the reason Denture Crafters continues to thrive.
