Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Robertson.
Hi Victoria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi! I’m Victoria, a personal stylist and content creator. My journey started while working in retail at The Buckle after I graduated college. That’s really where I fell in love with styling people. I had amazing clients who would come in weekly just to work with me — and before long, many of them started asking if I could help them outside of the store.
That’s how my styling business began. I started going into clients’ homes to organize their closets, put together outfits from what they already owned, and shop for new pieces to complete their wardrobes. I fell in love with the process — not just the fashion side, but being able to help people.
Fashion has always been a big part of who I am. I’ve always been the go-to person that friends and family come to for outfit advice. Last year, I finally started posting consistently on TikTok. I was honestly nervous at first, but people really connected with my content — my opinions on what to wear, where to shop, and the latest fashion trends. My videos started to go viral, and I began building a community that’s now close to 60,000 across TikTok and Instagram. It’s been incredible to see my styling business take off from there.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been easy, but it’s been so worth it. Being a content creator and running a personal styling business is a grind — especially while still working a full-time job that I love. In a way, I’m juggling three different careers at once. In the beginning, a lot of people didn’t really understand what I was doing. Trying to get family and friends to understand posting on social media and how that had any value was tough. I think people are starting to understand social media a lot more now and how life-changing it can be — especially the people closest to me. I’ve really just had to push through that, stay focused, and put my heart and soul into believing what I’m working towards.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a personal stylist and content creator who’s passionate about helping people feel their absolute best, no matter what they’re wearing. I customize all of my services to fit each client — whether it’s styling looks for upcoming events or doing a complete wardrobe transformation, everything is tailored to their individual needs and lifestyle.
What I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built on TikTok. It’s been incredible connecting with so many people who trust me for fashion advice or reach out when they need help getting ready for important moments. Over time, many of my clients have become good friends, and that’s been one of the most fulfilling parts of this journey. I just love helping people.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Yes! Most people think personal stylists are only for celebrities or people with a lot of money but that’s not true! I think it’s important to point out that it may be a bit of an investment depending on what you want to do but there are so many benefits from working with a stylist. I definitely think everyone should try it atleast once!
