Bethanie Lamb of Wichita on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Bethanie Lamb and have shared our conversation below.

Bethanie , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
Paulo Coelho once said “ Your decision to walk creates the path ahead.”

My path allows for wandering. It is my hope that I will encounter something new that will go beyond my expectations . I allow my feet and mind to roam freely, open to possibility, my heart open to joy, and my path open to unexpected opportunities.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Imagine stepping into a serene space where every detail is designed for your ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation. As a wellness spa professional, I prioritize creating a luxurious experience for clients, where the focus is on organic and natural options that nurture both the body and mind.

In my practice, I believe that wellness should be a holistic journey, integrating high-quality, ethically sourced products that promote health without compromising on indulgence.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
A curious child who spent time daydreaming in the sunshine. A little girl filled with wonder, creativity, always searching for treasures and the belief that anything was possible

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Worrying and caring what others may think of me or my efforts . It took me many years of adulthood to realize why would they even be thinking of me at all.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
I have always just been “me” as I don’’t how to be anyone else.. I was often, instructed and encouraged to hide emotions, to put on a brave face, and to not cry. . I’d rather be authentic. My imperfections are a big part of who I am.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
My stories of adventure , debacles and human interactions . I like to convey the culture, history, and experiences of my travels. They unite people. We can share laughter and laughter makes the day better.
