Hi MacKenzie , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I actually fell in love with Disney in kind of an unexpected way. My first trip to Walt Disney World was in 2020, and while I absolutely loved it, I left realizing how many things we missed simply because I didn’t know how to plan or prepare properly. I remember thinking, “Wow, this could’ve been even more magical if we’d known what to expect.”
So, when I got home, I immediately started planning our next trip — diving deep into every detail — and during that process, I discovered how much I truly loved the planning side of it. That’s what led me to become a travel agent specializing in Disney vacations. My goal has always been to make sure other families don’t have that same overwhelmed feeling I did, and instead get to fully enjoy their vacation from start to finish.
Now that I have kids of my own, it’s become even more special. I love helping families tailor their Disney experience specifically to them — making sure it fits their pace, their kids’ ages, and what’s actually going to make their trip magical. It’s such a rewarding feeling to know that I get to be a small part of helping them create those core memories together — and I love that my services come at no extra cost to them, since it’s already included in their vacation package.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road — there was a big learning curve in the beginning. Like any new business, there were challenges in finding my rhythm, understanding all the ins and outs of planning Disney travel, and even figuring out which agency was the best fit for me and how I wanted to serve my clients.
But every bit of that process taught me something valuable. I eventually found an amazing agency that really aligns with how I want to work — one that provides incredible tools and resources for clients to feel confident and prepared before their trips. Since making that change, things have really taken off. I’ve been able to connect with the most wonderful families, help them plan magical vacations, and continue to grow both personally and professionally.
It’s been so rewarding to see how far things have come, and I’m really excited to see what 2026 brings and all the new families I’ll get to work with!

I love being able to take what I’ve learned (including from my own first trip that didn’t go quite as planned!) and turn it into something that helps others make the most of their vacation.
