SorWil started with a simple idea. Local businesses deserve local IT support from people who know their community and take their success personally. After years working in technology and seeing how many organizations struggled with slow service or distant providers, I decided to build something better right here in Leavenworth County.
We began small. Just a few clients who trusted us with their networks, security, and everyday technology needs. As word spread, more organizations reached out. They needed someone who would pick up the phone, show up on-site, and help them plan ahead, not just fix problems after they happen.
Today, SorWil supports businesses, city departments, childcare providers, and nonprofits across the region. We focus on cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and dependable IT service that keeps operations moving. What has not changed is how we treat people. We listen, we respond quickly, and we do what we say we will do.
SorWil exists for one reason. Strong communities need strong local businesses, and strong local businesses need strong technology. That mission guides us every day as we continue to grow and serve the place we call home.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No business grows in a straight line. SorWil has had its share of challenges.
We launched during a time when many companies were cutting costs and hesitant to invest in new technology. Building trust took time. We also had to balance growth with making sure every client still received fast, reliable support. Hiring the right people, managing cash flow, and keeping up with constantly changing cybersecurity threats are all real hurdles in our work.
There were moments when the easier choice would have been to slow down or scale back, but we kept pushing forward because the community needed the services we provide. Each challenge sharpened how we operate today. We learned to be smarter with resources, more proactive with security, and more focused on the long-term relationships that truly matter.
The road has not always been smooth, but the struggles helped shape a stronger company. They reinforced why SorWil exists and who we are here to serve.

SorWil is a local Managed IT Services company that supports businesses, nonprofits, and public sector organizations across Leavenworth County and the surrounding area. We handle the technology that keeps operations running.
