Hi Kyle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved creating experiences that make people smile. Bubbletastic Events started almost by accident — what began as a simple idea for a fun summer activity with my kids quickly grew into something much bigger. When I saw how much joy bubbles brought to children and families, I realized there was a real opportunity to turn that moment of fun into a business that could brighten community events all across the greater Kansas City metro area.
I started small — a few neighborhood events and birthday parties — and quickly began getting requests from schools, churches, and cities. From there, it has become a full-scale business where we bring Bubble Zones, Foam Parties, and Bubble Snow experiences to different events throughout the state of Missouri.
Today, Bubbletastic Events partners with dozens of schools, PTOs, pastors, event planners, festival organizers and city parks departments across the state to create experiences that bring people together. It’s been a journey built on word-of-mouth, community relationships, and a simple goal: to spread joy and wonder through bubbles.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but every challenge has helped shape what Bubbletastic Events is today.
When I first started, I had no roadmap for running an events company. I had to learn everything from equipment logistics and weather planning to marketing, pricing, and building trust with schools, churches, and cities. There were plenty of moments early on when I was loading up gear in the rain or troubleshooting foam machines minutes before an event started.
The biggest hurdle, though, was building awareness. People didn’t know what a “Bubble Zone”, “Foam Party” or “Bubble Snow” was at first, so I had to get creative about showing what we do — through social media videos, local partnerships, and just getting out there at every community event that would have us.
Those early challenges taught me to stay flexible, over-communicate with clients, and always have a backup plan. Now, every event runs like clockwork — but those bumpy beginnings were where the real growth happened.

What’s next?
The future for Bubbletastic Events is all about growth and creating new ways to bring people together. We’re expanding our reach across Missouri, forming partnerships with more schools, cities, and community organizations each season. A big focus right now is on growing our Bubble Science Assemblies — bringing hands-on, standards-aligned STEM learning to even more schools in fun, unforgettable ways.
We’re also entering new markets like corporate events and team celebrations, where we’ve found that the same experiences that light up kids also bring out creativity, laughter, and connection among adults. From company picnics to employee appreciation days, bubbles and foam are universal — everyone becomes a kid again.
Looking ahead, we’re developing new themed experiences and building a small, dedicated team to help us scale while keeping that personal, community-first approach people love about Bubbletastic. Our mission stays the same: to spread joy, one event at a time.
