Hi Autumn & Justyn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Autumn grew up on the sunny shores of Cocoa Beach, Florida, and Justyn in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Different beginnings, but we’ve always shared a love for people, creativity, and the Lord, who makes everything we do possible.
God brought us together in Kansas City in 2021, and two years later we were married. Soon after, He opened the door for us to pursue this dream full time. Autumn started Nomad Collective in 2017, (previously known as AKWMedia)and in 2023 it officially became ours. Now we get to travel, create, and serve couples together while telling stories that truly matter.
For us, this is more than a business, it’s a calling. We’re passionate about people, stories, and exploring the beautiful world God created.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We have been blessed to have wonderful couples. The process in inquires getting calls can be difficult as well as finding the right target audience.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What sets us apart is how relationally driven we are, and the work we put into our couples day, as well as a one stop shop, all in house. We offer planning, coordination, photo and video for wedding, and travel agent services. We love that no matter what services they choose we get to celebrate them in different mediums that we are gifted and passionate about the couples vision.
What are your plans for the future?
We are looking to continue expanding, currently tweaking the services we offer now, as we offer a wide variety of wedding options
