Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Tremain Dudgeon.
Hi Jennifer, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Last time I saw you all I was living and thriving in KC! I loved it there… a lot has changed since. I’ve had two children and moved to Kentucky! I was pregnant with our third child a little girl (Palmer) and during the pregnancy I lost my mother and stepfather in a horrific car accident. This caused a great deal of heartache and disruption of my being behind the chair. I decided to take a step back and focus on my brand Citygrl Professional. After having our daughter we very quickly found out we were pregnant again (wow) so that’s when we decided we would move where we had more family to help with the littles. Even tho we live in Kentucky I am still able to maintain Citygrl Professional hair and skin from my website and various other platforms.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The challenge has really just been maintaining contact and the ability to reach clientele from a distance. Let people know I am still available and adding more to the inventory everyday.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I was a hairstylist for 20 years in KC. I developed Citygrl Professional in 2017 with my husband Jason. We focused on repair and clean products.
How do you define success?
Focus and maintaining honesty and transparency.
