Exploring Life & Business with Matthew Lievore of Lievore Lawn and Home Services LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Lievore.

Hi Matthew, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my business in so i can spend more time with my family and with my faith. After working in the maintenance field for over 20 years for someone else I wanted a flexible schedule. First I started by cutting lawns in the spring while working full-time still by late-summer I have developed a strong base to go full time on my business. Now, that summer is coming to a close I went back into my skill set and started offering home repair services along with my lawn care.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The same time i started gaining customers for lawn care, my full-time job ramped up to the work schedule to 12 hour shifts due to their production demands. So most of the summer I would sleep about 3 hours for 2 days a week run my business and go to work that night.

We’ve been impressed with Lievore Lawn and Home Services LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I focus on building long-term business/client relationships and holding on to the traditional hometown values of staying man of his word, and taking pride his work. Bringing the traditional values while using modern technology for today’s world.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Do I view myself as a risk taker? No, do other people view me as a risk taker? Yes, but what others don’t see is i put the time and preparation into the risk as a lot of the work is done behind-the-scenes per say. I choose employment in my past not for the money but, for the opportunity to further develop skills in an area with the help of employers and experienced co-workers .
