Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Pearce.

Amanda Pearce

Hi Amanda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Our Story – Amanda Pearce, Founder & CEO of Midwest Horizons Marketing, LLC

Midwest Horizons Marketing began humbly on a small nightstand in the corner of my bedroom in North Missouri, with nothing more than \$500 and a big dream. My dad once told me, *“If you can’t start a service company with \$500 or less, you probably shouldn’t start it at all.”* That advice stuck with me, and I set out determined to prove him right.

After years of working for a large media company, I knew I could do things differently—and better—for small businesses. I wanted to create a company that truly supported local entrepreneurs, giving them the tools, flexibility, and strategies to compete without the huge price tags and red tape of corporate media.

Within six months, Midwest Horizons grew to six figures. By 2023, I relocated both my life and business to Leavenworth, Kansas, where our vision began to expand even further. In early 2025, we opened our St. Joseph, and Kansas City Missouri locations, followed just months later by a North Carolina and Virginia locations.

Today, we have staff across the country, working in a model that emphasizes flexibility, collaboration, and authentic support. I’ve never liked being called “the boss”—I save that title for my husband, Mike, who officially joined the company on February 1, 2025 after retiring from a 32-year military career. Together, we’re building something that’s not just a marketing agency, but a partner in growth for businesses of all sizes.

What started with \$500 and a nightstand has grown into a full-service marketing agency with nationwide reach—and we’re just getting started.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There are always challenges in small businesses; things change quickly in the digital world.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

At Midwest Horizons, our brand is built on authenticity, flexibility, and results. We don’t just run ads—we deliver solutions that drive awareness, engagement, and real growth for your business.

What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been someone who looked outside the box. Growing up, I didn’t have much—we were poor, and I knew early on that I didn’t want to spend my whole life that way. That experience gave me grit, determination, and a drive to create something better.

Even as a kid, I was creative and entrepreneurial. I was curious about how things worked, why people made the choices they did, and how I could do things differently to get a better result. That mindset has carried over into everything I do today—finding solutions, thinking big, and believing that with enough work and heart, you can change your story.
