Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Rusow.
Hi Hannah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got into real estate in 2021, just after turning 19 years old. I dove headfirst into the real estate world — and I’ve never looked back. I started my career with an amazing group, the KC Advantage Team, where I was fortunate to have an incredible leader and mentor who guided me through the everyday ins and outs of the business. From contracts to client care, I learned what it truly meant to serve people in one of the biggest decisions of their lives. As time went on, our team decided to take an exciting step forward and join The Rob Ellerman Team at ReeceNichols— and that’s when everything really began to change for me. My business grew, my confidence grew, and I found a huge support system that pushed me to keep learning and leveling up. I started taking more classes, sharpening my skills, and really understanding the “why” behind what I do. Soon after, I was honored with a promotion to Co-Team Lead of the KC Advantage Group, where I now help lead alongside the amazing Karen Cragg. It’s been such a rewarding experience — mentoring, motivating, and growing with other agents who share the same drive and passion that first brought me here. Recently, I was recognized by Real Producers Magazine as one of Kansas City’s Top 40 Under 40, which has been one of the biggest achievements of my career so far. To think that this all started at 19 years old still blows my mind — and it’s just the beginning. Real estate has changed my life in ways I never imagined. I’m ready to keep digging in, learning more, and chasing every goal this crazy, amazing business has to offer. The best is yet to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road… I have battled the age game. Because I am younger, sometimes I don’t always get taken seriously or people try to push me around. But, once I gained confidence through learning and growing, it is not as much of a challenge anymore. Just because you are young does not mean that you can’t do the things you have always wanted to do.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a real estate agent in Kansas and Missouri. I specialize in the Bates and Cass County Areas. I am very knowledgeable in my market and the surrounding areas. I am apart of the KC Advantage Group, powered by the Rob Ellerman Team at ReeceNichols. Which means I have a HUGE support system all over the Metro and I can even help with moves all over the United States! I am most proud of my determination in this business. I have had my struggles but I always move forward and keep providing my clients the absolute best! I would love to help anyone who is thinking about making a move! I strive to provide the best marketing, communication, and negotiation skills.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Being around my family and friends! I always have the best time with them all. Whether we are just hanging out or taking a trip, it is always the best time!
